Roof racks

Has anyone with a 148” long high roof transit purchased a Melipron roof rack ?
I bought one on eBay and looked up the item number on the picture posted.
On Meliprons website it says this is for medium roof transits. I talked to customer service who said they don’t specifically make a roof rack for the long highroof transits.
My question is if you have this roof rack, what do you think about the fit? Do you like the roof rack?

Reply from melipron.

“We’re sorry to inform you that we don’t carry roof racks specifically made for long high roof Ford Transit vans at this moment, and this is the only variant we have available.

To answer your questions:
This rack will not properly fit your high roof model.
The structural height and mounting bracket curvature differ greatly between high roof and medium roof versions, which is why they cannot be used interchangeably.”

DIY oil change where

I know some of you do your own maintenance on your vehicles and I want to ask, where do you go to do this (oil)if you live full time in your van? I’m in a highly populated area on the east coast.

Generic companies headquarters

I thought this was interesting. In another post someone mentioned one of the generic brands headquarters being in India. According to this only 2 out of 20 are headquartered in United States. Some have no locations in the United States.

Be nice please

I can’t fit under my van. It is claustrophobic and I’m trying to figure out why. This front end is so low to the ground. Is there some kind of extra frame or guard or something extra on this van? 2023 transit 350 AWD. Are the front shocks trashed? How an I fix this? I should be able to fit under the front of this van comfortably. I’m not a big person.
