Anyone from South America (Peru specifically) successfully obtain a tourist visa? Tips?
Hello all! My boyfriend is from Peru and a while back we sent in the application for a USA tourist visa! With time and more understanding, I see it’s actually a really difficult visa to get…Im worried about the probability of him actually being approved. He’s young, 25. He hasn’t had a stable job for a while but he is studying (I guess that shows ties to home country?) and by the time of the interview, he will have traveled to Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Belize and have returned to Peru. He’s currently trying to find a stable job at the moment, the visa interview is in January so he will have 6 months to improve. He will have plenty of money in his bank account by the time of January so he will be able to show that but he doesn’t have anything in his name such as a car/house…we are praying and hoping every day because i want him to visit my country before we go forward with deciding to get married. Does anyone who previously got approved have tips or advice? Thanks!!
