Back in the gym for 3 months and have been focusing on strengthening the muscles around my spine for posture correction. Heavy leg days, light abdominal days, light upper body days focusing on trap muscles.
I have tight painful muscles in the back and neck, every time I do an upper body workout I’m outta commission with a migraine the next day. Any recommendations for low intensity exercises that give results??
I always do my physio stretches before working out so I don’t think that’s the issue!
This was not a quick bounce back 😂 It took 2.5 years to lose +90lbs through diet and chasing a toddler, June of this year I finally got back to the gym with functional strength training and feel (almost) as good as I did pre pregnancy!
I have recently been going through all the hoops for EDS testing and found myself at the hospital after my second MVA this year. The ER doc said “everything looked good” and sent me home with painkillers and muscle relaxants on top of my nerve blockers. Family doc said X-rays wouldn’t show them what they needed to see and disagreed.
Just comparing my images to “normal” images online, I know there isn’t a significant deviance but there’s definitely some anterior tilt in both images and disc rubbing in the lumbar, or am I seeing what I want to see??
I would be interested to see others images who HAVE been diagnosed if anyone is comfortable sending them to me!
