Hello,

I recently deleted someone’s phone number whom I was in contact with every day for some time. I then re-added their phone number later that day.

Their contact information doesn’t come up on my share sheet options, even though they are still listed as a frequent contact on WhatsApp.

Is this because I briefly deleted their phone number?

I’ve been dating this guy since April. Two in person dates before he went on a planned work trip for three months (in the navy).

Communication has been great. I understand he is busy but he’s shown that he will message when he can. We have agreed that texting isn’t our favourite, but it’s the situation we find ourselves in. He’s told me he has romantic intentions with me. He’s direct and honest about his opinions. He’s told me he’s sent women rejection messages in the past.

On Saturday, he made time to call me, even though he was really tired. It was a quick call but I appreciated it. We planned to call again on Sunday. Sunday comes and he messages saying he’s out with work and he will call on Monday. Monday comes and he doesn’t text me all day, so by 7pm I text to check in. He sends some social messages and doesn’t acknowledge the call. I ask if he’d still like to call and he says he isn’t available because he’s needing to get some sleep in before an early start. He proposes we call on Wednesday. I agree.

He doesn’t read my last two messages (that were lighthearted and fun- I’ve never been angry with him over having to reschedule). Wednesday comes and goes and he still doesn’t read them, text or call. Yesterday I messaged him saying I hope he’s had a good week and I’m thinking of him. He’s read it and not replied.

I’m hoping it’s just been a busy week and he was out last night and plans to respond today. But honestly, I’m so confused because things were going really well.
