Anyone have experience with LG?

I have mainly done light commercial and have a good amount of experience with Mitsubishi city multi. Bossman called me and asked how I feel about going out to an LG VRF at a local college. Was wondering if they have a proprietary maintenance tool or laptop interface thing like Mitsubishi maintenance tool does. Or anything else I might need to prepare for, any special tools for them I might need, anyone have any advice?

ID help?

Had some water damage during some home renovations and ordered an Amazon test kit to make sure it’s not dangerous. None of the ID pictures in the test kit look like this, can anyone help? I don’t know anything about mold.

Carpenter ants? Diagnosis or advice?? (2 photos)

I am getting my sagging deck replaced and my contractor found this. He said that I should call an exterminator because the ants were eating all the wood that got exposed to water damage. I just want to know if this is something I can DIY or if I need a professional. I am very handy and I have experience in HVAC construction. Thank you for any advice.

Told to work when I am sick??

I don’t get it every time I get sick it’s like moving a mountain to stay home. I’ve been sick since Thursday, didn’t get to celebrate over the weekend, I can barely talk or eat or swallow and I am in and out of sleep and dispatch wants to keep scheduling jobs for me everyday then I have to tell them I’m not working, then they tell the customers sorry and reschedule. I even have a note from urgent care. It’s just stressful and a waste of time and I know it’s hot this week but I am genuinely miserable.

I am a ME student and only had introductory classes on structural and materials and such. My local park built this bridge recently and there’s no paint or coating or anything, my intuition thinks that this rust would be bad for the bridge long term. Was it designed thicker for lack of maintenance or something? I’m genuinely curious.

**I did search the subreddit first and didn’t find anything
