I'm starting out (it's only my first week) and I've been uploading a Minecraft gameplay series where I focus on getting all of the game's achievements. I know Minecraft content is a specially saturated area, but I enjoy making it.

I like taking it easy and not rushing it, but I understand popular Minecraft series are more fast paced nowadays.

I got 10 views on the first episode, 110 on the second and, for now, no views on the third. The retention overall is not great. I make 20-30 minute videos (usually the raw footage is 1.5-2h long).

Regarding the editing, I've been cutting off boring parts. I like to make a kind of "satisfying" timed cuts where I match the cuts with mining blocks or hitting mobs. I really enjoy that part. Sometimes I add some music. It's not as entertaining as some more energetic styles of editing.

My mic can definitely be improved. My commentary is still lacking, but I feel like I can improve. I'm working on being more confident regarding what I say and my accent. I mostly talk about the game or I make dumb jokes. I often get jumpscared by Creepers or anything really and I scream, in that case I cut it like a "perfectly cut scream" which I find funny.

I draw my own thumbnails and I try to think of an interesting title, although I know it's not all about that.

Should I stick to one-shot videos first or something more popular? Of course I'd prefer to keep doing what I like, but what's the point if people aren't interested?

I'm playing on version 26.2 on a Realms server, I'm the admin and can't see the value.

I'm searching for an ancient city and I need to see the Erosion number. Is there any way to activate it? The server is vanilla and survival mode.
