Can I use preemptive on the latest Minecraft versions?

I am a retired Minecraft speedrunner. I initially started speedrunning in order to get better at the game. And it worked. However, what I've realized now is that literally no speedrun techs work in the latest version. And it really annoys me so much. Just yesterday, I spent 34 minutes trying to find the portal room. It is so annoying. It lowkey feels like Mojang changed the stronghold generation in the latest version or something. I have absolutely no idea what's happening, but is there any tutorial at all for preempting on the latest version?

Why does this game have no brilliants?

Hi there. I am, sort of a brilliant fisher. Every single game I try to get a brilliant move, and I played this tactical masterpiece, and I was wondering, why does this have absolutely no brilliance? I've made so many sacrifices.

How do you actually defend against this kind of attack?

Hey guys,

I played a game as White today where I played the King's Gambit. The game turned highly tactical very quickly after I sacrificed my knight on f3 and then my bishop on f7 to draw the black king out.

While I managed to get the win, I was analyzing this afterward and realized how incredibly difficult it is to defend these positions as Black when your king is exposed but you are up material. I've lost countless games to this exact opening, I find it super hard to defend.

If you were playing Black in this game, how would you go about defending? What were Black's biggest mistakes that allowed my attack to succeed?

How to beat these hyper-Aggressive Brilliant Fishers

I would say that I'm fair at attacking, defending, and pretty much everything overall. However, the one thing that counters me is when people keep on throwing out aggressive attacks. I have put a game below that you can go through to show you an example of what I'm talking about. I literally have no idea how to counter this. I don't even know how these people come up with these moves. It genuinely looks like engine play to me. I know the game is really dubious, but I can't play the winning move, I just don't know how to punish it. This is just the issue with Blitz. Every single time I queue up, they go for a crazy attack like this.

Any tips against the Alien Gambit?

Today I was playing a blitz game, and my opponent in the opening sacked a knight randomly. I was happy and I gladly took it, thinking I was in a winning position. Then I proceeded to get vaporized and the opponent played 2 queen sacs. I have literally no idea what I did wrong. Looking through analysis, I noticed that I missed a lot of good moves. However, I have no idea how to counter this gambit as this is like the eighth time I've lost to it. Any tips would be appreciated.

Is this actual 700 elo chess or am I just garbage

I always thought I had decently high elo as I would always win against 1200-1500 players over the board, and I made an account for the first time in online chess, the FIRST game I get, this is absolute madness, I am actually so embarrassed after this game. However, no 700 elo plays like this. Am I just trash?? I feel like my opponent just spat in my face, I genuinely was angered after this
