Looking for a good EB-2 NIW lawyer.
My profile:
If you had a similar profile, which lawyer did you use and would you recommend them?
For those who filed or are preparing an EB-2 NIW petition, did you use AI during the process? If so, which AI tools did you use: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or something else?
I’m especially interested in how you used AI for:
Also interested in what you would not trust AI to do because of hallucinations or accuracy issues.
I’m looking for recommendations for an immigration lawyer with strong experience handling EB-2 NIW petitions who takes the time to review each case individually.
I have seen concerning reviews about some larger law firms using a high-volume or template-based approach. Chen Immigration and Ellis Porter declined my case, so I understand that my petition may require a more careful and individualized strategy.
I’m especially looking for a lawyer who will work closely with me on developing the proposed endeavor, organizing the supporting evidence, writing the petition, and preparing strong recommendation letters rather than simply providing generic templates.
Has anyone worked with a smaller firm or attorney who was thorough, responsive, and willing to carefully develop a less straightforward NIW case? I would appreciate any recommendations or personal experiences.
Can anyone recommend an immigration lawyer experienced with EB-2 NIW cases for scientists working in industry who do not have publications or citations? Looking for someone who provides a careful, individualized assessment.
Has anyone working in scientific research in industry successfully filed an EB-2 NIW without publication or citation?
Most information I have found focuses on academic researchers, so I’m interested in how industry scientists demonstrated the importance of their work and that they were well positioned to advance their proposed endeavor.
How did you document your contributions when much of your work was confidential or proprietary? I would also appreciate hearing whether you filed independently or worked with a lawyer experienced with industry researchers.
I am considering Manifest Law for an EB-2 NIW petition and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has worked with them.
I am especially interested in:
Please share your experience here or send me a message if you prefer. Thank you.
Anyone have experience with any of those law firms would appreciate feedback Kameli Law, Manifest Law and Colombo and Hurd Law?
Let me know your experience with them. Having to consider other lawfirms since Chen and Ellis porter did not want to take my case
I am planning to apply for an EB-2 NIW and was declined by Chen Immigration/WeGreened and Ellis Porter.
I am looking for recommendations for a lawyer or law firm that may be willing to evaluate and handle my case. Please share any firms you had a good experience with.
Hey everyone! I’m a 30-year-old guy living right outside of Boston and looking for ways to meet new people and make friends in the area.
I’m into photography, trying new restaurants/cafés, soccer, sports in general, and getting outside for nature walks, scenic spots, or day trips. I’d be down to explore new places around Boston, grab food, watch a game, take photos, or just hang out.
For people who’ve made friends here as adults, what worked for you? Any groups, meetups, sports leagues, or social events you’d recommend?
Feel free to DM me too!
Hi everyone,
I’m considering EB2-NIW and wanted to ask for general advice from people who have been through the process, especially those who did not have publications or citations. I have 5 years of experience in my field.
A well-known NIW firm declined my case, likely because I don’t have the traditional academic profile with peer-reviewed papers and citations. My background is more industry-based, with technical R&D experience, internal project contributions, posters/presentations, and possible recommendation letters from people familiar with my work.
I’m trying to understand how people have approached NIW when their work is mostly confidential industry work rather than public academic output.
A few questions:
I’d appreciate any general experiences, strategies, or lessons learned.
Thanks.
Hi everyone,
I’m planning to self-file an EB-2 NIW petition and wanted to ask if anyone who successfully filed DIY would be willing to share helpful resources, templates, or practical guidance.
I’m especially looking for:
I know every case is different, and I’m not asking for legal advice. I’m mainly looking for examples, templates, organization tips, or lessons learned from people who have gone through the DIY process.
For those who self-filed, what resources helped you the most? What would you do differently?
Thank you!
Hi everyone,
I’m exploring EB-2 NIW and looking for lawyer recommendations, especially for industry-based cases with limited publications.
Has anyone self-filed successfully? How hard was it to prepare the petition, organize evidence, and address the NIW prongs?
Would you recommend DIY, attorney review, or full legal representation?
Lastly which law firms you recommend? considering big law firms like Chen and Ellis porter rejected me
Thanks!
Hey everyone! I’m looking to meet new people and make some friends in the area. I’m a bit of an introvert at first, but I open up once I’m comfortable and enjoy good conversations, coffee, walks, trying new restaurants, photography, exploring the city, or just low-key hangouts. I work in biotech, so weekdays can be busy, but I’d love to meet people for casual weekend plans or after-work hangs. Open to group meetups too, especially with others who are also looking to expand their social circle!
