Adding on to my mourning dove post.

I think he's getting used to me. Sometimes it even looks like he's taking little naps. I came outside and was telling my partner about how he was out there this morning with me and when I gestured back he was in the pot. Are we becoming besties?

Curious about Mourning doves...

This mourning dove comes and hangs out in a pot on my balcony all the time (no eggs). Recently it's starting to blink at me, and not get skittish when I move around him. I don't ever get close to him but I sit on my balcony a lot so I'm sure he's getting used to my presence? Is this normal? He sees like he's sleeping sometimes when I look at him, eventually he'll coo and fly away over me..

Mourning doves

My BIL passed away 2.5 months ago.. about a month ago Mourning doves have been coming to visit. I've lived here for over 3 years, and the birds have never been on my balcony like this.. even when I'm sitting outside.. coincidence or a sign?
