We simply must talk about these statues at the Lucas Museum

I can only assume that these came from George's personal collection

I wasn’t going to NOT use the wood grain in this scenario.

GKIDS Linda Linda Linda release a no show

I ordered the collector’s edition back in 7/6 and it said it would be shipping 8/25. I checked on the order yesterday and it showed nothing had happened since the day I ordered it. Checking their website, it appears it’s down from 8/21 to 9/1. That’s not unheard of, if a little strange when you’re releasing something. Then I tried emailing the support email mentioned in the order confirmation. Email delivery subsystem error saying the recipient email is invalid. Okay that’s weird. Trying the store email. Same error.

Does Gkids still exist? I have seen that level of supposed “website maintenance” in years.

Narcissus Frog

Print from my wife’s grandmother collection. She lived in San Francisco for over 90 years. Can’t quite decipher the signature. She had other wood block prints by Alexis Pencovic and I have the impression it is possibly by someone in his circle.

Goat with Scone

Got this numbered print at a community thrift store in Oakland a few years back. Bought it on sight because, well, it’s a goat eating a scone. Obviously. Anyway, I can’t find anything about it other than the existence of the father and son Swiss artists with the last name Giacometti, but that seems unlikely based on their work I could find.
