Which Marriott is best in Clearwater beach.

I am coming from out of state for a summer camp for my kids at the Clearwater aquarium. I have tentatively booked out the Courtyard. However, I am thinking it would be more economical to get a hotel with breakfast . That leaves the residence inn or Springhill suites. What are your thoughts on these hotels? We are not renting a car so we will have to use the trolley to get around. We will also be packing lunches and having some meals in the room. So many of these hotels just have a cooling fridge in the room and not a real fridge. Thanks.

I want to stop Tamoxifen

I’m 43 and had stage 1 grade 3 +++ cancer last year. I did 12 weeks of taxol and herceptin. During my diep flap, I had a PE. I’ve been on Eliquis since because we decided tamoxifen was best for me. Also have bilateral frozen shoulders since diep flap 9 months ago. Also had to stop herceptin with two doses left cuz it lowered my ejection fraction. I haven't been sleeping due to insomnia and hot flashes.

Started tamoxifen in March. I haven’t had a period since April. Recently saw my cardiologist and endocrinologist. My bones are rapidly deteriorating so she wants me to do infusions. She thinks its a combo of the taxol, tamoxifen, and another genetic condition I have. The cardiologist wants me to start two cholesterol meds to lower my LDL. It’s about 102 so it’s not that high, but he said that tamoxifen can increase cholesterol so he wants it lower to 70. I will be on eliquis for as long as I am on Tamoxifen. Also have had high platelets most of my life, so hematologist wants me to take hydrea.

I get the point of tamoxifen. I did not have any spread through my lymph nodes but they want me to take it because of the grade 3 and HERS2+. But what’s the point of it’s gonna damage other organs and body parts? This does not include the side effects of all the drugs they want me to take. The tamoxifen isn’t even guaranteed. I’m feeling so defeated and annoyed. Has anyone else with a stage 1, grade 3 cancer stopped tamoxifen and gotten a reoccurrence?

Bone infusions and cancer

I’m 43 and had stage 1 grade 3 +++ cancer last year. I did 12 weeks of taxol and herceptin. I had to stop herceptin when I had two dose left because it damaged my heart. I’mcalso seeing an endocrinologist due to some other issues I have. My latest labs showed that my bones are rapidly deteriorating. She wants me to do zometa infusions every six months for one year. She also mentioned that this can help prevent recurrence in the bones. Has anyone else had to get this infusion? Are there any major side effects you’ve experienced? It seems for me that’s when I feel like I am done with one thing something else pops up and I’m so tired.

Periods and tamoxifen

I am 43 and dealt with stage one triple positive breast cancer last year. I started tamoxifen in March. I got my period in March but have not had one since. My oncologist told me I may still get it or it may stop altogether while I’m on the medication. Just wondering how many of you got your periods back while you were taking the drug?

London itinerary with teens next week!

Will be visiting London next week with my teens and can't wait! I know there are a ton of itineraries on here already. I've read through some of them and was hoping I could get feedback on what I came up with. Don't want to do too much in one day as we want to relax and enjoy our time.

Day 1: after checking in, head to the Westminister area and check out Big Ben, Westminister Bridge, St. James Park, Buckingham Palace.

Day 2: British Museum in the AM, lunch at Covent garden and then walk around in Soho, Chinatown. Maybe Leicester Square?

Day 3: Central London day. I can't decide if we should do the Big Bus Tour, or walk the area ourselves. Another idea is to do some of it by boat. Was also thinking of taking the boat to Greenwich. Some sites we want to see are London Eye, St. Pauls Cathedral, London Bridge, Borough Market, etc. We won't be going inside most of these places, just taking pics.

Day 4: we will celebrate Eid in the morning and then head for brunch or high tea in the Nottinghill/Portabello Market area. This day is pretty open to add more activities.

Day 5: flight departs at 2:45 so not sure if there is time to check anything out. We are staying in the Stratford area and the flight is out of London City airport. Was thinking of maybe Canary Wharf area in the AM.

Teen friendly restaurants near Buckingham Palace

I am looking for some good affordable restaurants near Buckingham Palace for our first day in London. Prefer halal, but anything with pescatarian options also works! Looking for something walkable. Thanks!

Affordable afternoon tea spots

I am looking for some affordable afternoon tea in London. Taking my girls to London for a birthday trip and that is on their wish list. Most places I’m finding are $70 plus USD. I’m not interested in spending that much for some tea and sandwiches. If there is a café where we can have similar experience without paying that much, do let me know. Thanks!

Hello. I am coming to London the end of May with my 17 and 13 yo. This is our first time in London. We will be staying in the Stratford area. We arrive at LHR around 11:00 AM. We will only be there for three full days, so trying to make the most use of our time. was thinking the day of arrival to visit the British museum and Covent Garden. The rest of the days we would want to see the major tourist attractions. Debating between getting the hop on hop off bus or just walking in different neighborhoods. My kids are into Harry Potter and K-pop. I’m trying to group things by neighborhood so we don’t get too tired.

also, what are some must packs for this time of year?
