Sleep training 5 month old teething baby who relies on pacifiers

I am a FTM of a 5.5 month old and I am trying to understand how to sleep train a baby who is currently teething and seems to rely on pacifiers to drift asleep for naps.

Currently, I am not too concerned with her nighttime sleep - baby fortunately sleeps through the night and occasionally when she wakes up for a few seconds, seems to fall right back asleep. Our bedtime routine consists of washing up and changing into PJs, settling down in a dimly lit room with her last bottle for the day, then teeth brushing, sleep by 8pm all the way to 7am. Sometimes she will fall asleep before the bottle but because she consistently falls asleep for the night around this time, I don't think she associates bottle with sleep? Please let me know if I am wrong about that.

My main concern is her naps..she seems to rely on pacifiers to nap. When she shows clear signs of sleepiness, I would place her in her crib but she starts crying. Once I give her a pacifier, she starts to drift asleep but as soon as it falls out of her mouth, she cries. I want to add that she is currently teething, and I want to wean her off the pacifier so she can sleep without it..but I read somewhere that I should not do that while she is teething? And if that is true, at what stage can I start to wean her off of it and what can I do in the meantime?

Starting Solids Advice

Hello, I am a FTM of a 5.5 month old trying to wrap my head around introducing solids. There is so much more to it than I initially understood..such as puree feeding vs baby led weaning vs a combo of both. I also came to find out that there are specific ways to prepare foods to reduce chances of choking, to introduce allergens as soon as possible, and to practice drinking out of straw cups. Is there anything else I should prepare for, tips you could provide, what worked best for you, whether you did exclusively baby led weaning or also did purees? I would appreciate any advice or resources!
