Riding The Big Blue Limosine!

The other day a friend of mine booked a charter of CTs last remaining GM bus. I don't know how he did it or where but it apparently cost $600 for 2 hours. I had a lot of fun and I would like to thank transit controller Troy for being our driver!

(WIP) some stereographic projection maps of Venus's south pole using various radar sources

Some Stereographic projection maps of Venus's south pole created from various radar sources. All I have had time to do so far is project the data, but im currently working on plotting map graticules and nomenclature onto them. I will try to post the completed versions in the next few days here as well as higher resolution versions to my Deviantart. Image dimensions: 9388x9388px

I hate Swedish aspens

They are such poor excuses for trees and they're being planted everywhere across my city instead of nicer poplars and cottonwoods that are native and grow just as fast. They are scrawny, stupid columns that provide very little shade, are disease prone, and they don't do all that well in my climate. I cringe every time I have he misfortune of laying eyes upon one of those disgusting poor excuses for trees. Calgary, Alberta has plains cottonwoods and balsam poplars that are native and there are so many nicer trees especially spruces and firs that can grow here and do well. Why aren't they being planted as much anymore in favour of crap that looks bad and dies quickly? The Swedish aspens and Lombardy poplars are my least favourite trees.
