2022 EQA 250+ Ohme Charging App Quirks

Hi all,

My grandad has recently bought his first EV (2022 EQA 250+) - We were advised by the dealership that they use Ohme chargers which was good as I use one for my Tesla so I'm familiar with them.

However, I'm now realising that it can't actually communicate with the car as it can with my Tesla. When he plugs the car in it prompts for you to enter the charge of your car and provides a guesstimate.

The way I have always done it is set the charge limit to 80% within the car and set the Ohme charge limit to 100%.

I set this up for him, but because on next charge session it guesses the charge level again, it can assume the battery is higher than it is and therefore doesn't even get to 80% before stopping.

Is the only way to manually set the estimate within Ohme app to 0% every plug in?! Seems like such an unnecessary step and I'm hoping you have some better suggestions!

Thanks so much!

Think this was due a change a long time ago...

My wife got me a Khaki Field Auto when we first started dating 6 years ago (now married) and I have worn it every day since... She feels brand new again!
