Husband during IVF

I’m just so frustrated with everything. My husband’s a great guy but his sometimes lack of empathy bothers me. IVF has not been crazy in terms of my mood swings but I am on the edge more often. I feel isolated and alone, I know there’s not much he can do but whenever I say I’m feeling lonely momentarily he listens but there’s no proactive support. He keeps saying I should verbalize what I want which is annoying as well. Why can’t be understand what I need or let me throw tantrums without trying to dissect and tell me how to resolve “my feelings”. I sometimes feel I have to spell everything out when it comes to my needs or feelings and he says that’s part of communication. But I would like some initiative from his end. Maybe offer to go to the clinic with me, help me with meds etc, although I wouldn’t have him help. I would just like him to still ask and show concern….does this make sense or im being unreasonable/bad communicator? Idek anymore. I just wish he wouldn’t take everything tantrum so personally and understand I could be just hormonal.. I hate asking for help so that’s not helpful either I suppose

Omnitrope for round 2 of ivf

Hi, I’m 33 years old (turning 34 in a month). Just got done with my first cycle a week ago. Unfortunately with poor results..
Retrieved 11 eggs
Mature 7 eggs
Fertilized via ICSI 7 eggs
Day 3 embryos 6
Day 5 embryo 1 but 3 were slowly growing
Day 6 only 1 and sent that for pgta testing

I had done estrogen priming last cycle then started menopur/follistim and took letrozole for only 5 days. Triggered with lupron/pregnyl.

Now the plan is to start estrogen priming again which I have and take 8 units of omnitrope daily which i’ve started pre stims. I’ll continue that throughout the stims along with menopur, follistim and this time letrozole throughout too.

Anyone has had any luck with omnitrope? Had a similar regimen for a cycle? Why did most of the eggs slow down or die after day 3? Should there be something else I should look into?

33 years old, low AMH

Im 33 years old, working in healthcare (high stress). We started the TTC journey a year ago, after no luck we started digging. I had the whole work up, initially found to have diffuse adenomyosis but later on was told its focal on more imaging. Was also diagnosed with Sjogren purely on basis of lab work so started on plaquenil. My husband was initially told he had low sperm motility but he was on finasteride for hair loss which he stopped and there has been a great improvement to the point that the RE is not worried about him anymore.

However my AMH is 1.6, AFC around 12 so I was diagnosed with DOR as well. I was pretty depressed about that for a while…blamed my lifestyle/career choices. Changed a bunch around.

We started IVF last month. Was on estrogen priming initially then once my cycle started was placed on menopur/ follistim and (letrozole for 5 days only). Scans were looking okay, had around 10-13 follicles.

Did my egg retrieval a week ago, got 11 eggs, 7 mature and 7 fertilized which I got excited about. However only 5 made it to day 3, and only 1 to blastocyst which is being sent fot PGTA testing. I feel horrible, I know IVF attrition is real and being in healthcare i’ve tried to compartmentalized it like im a patient etc but right now I feel like crap and I cant help it.

Does anyone have a similar situation/experience? I’d love to see some hope…I need it!
