Help me get back into books
Guys so, a little background. Im 25, a doctor and have been an AVID book reader/collector till 2020. My bookshelf houses 500 books, a collection I built in 5 years- basically the crux or a نچور of my teenage. My go-to genre is high fantasy with some slowburn romance in between which doesnt dominate the plot. My favorites are the Legend trilogy, the Shades of Magic trilogy, the Illuminae files, all of Leigh Bardugos books, Sarah J Maas' books (yes, guilty). Ive read most if not all of the famous books that came out before 2019 and Ive been out of touch since then. I stopped reading since I started medschool and it haunts me alot because reading was THE BIGGEST PART OF ME and now I have a shelf full of books (pictured above) that stares at me everyday and beckons to me to return to my teenage hyperfixation.
So I need yall to help me, suggest me books like the ones I mentioned, pls no Shatter me or Red Queen shiz tho. I love Brandon Sanderson but cant pick him up again because of how ENORMOUS the books are. Any niche series are also welcome.
