ABET accredited undergrad from Javeriana (Colombia)in electronics engineering can work?

Hello I grew up in Houston but for family reasons I have to move and study in Colombia my dream is to do embedded software engineering. Unfortunately it's a little difficult in Colombia to do such because the market is pretty small. So my goal would be to move back to Houston I already have an undergrad but in information technology from the university of Houston clear lake. However I wanted to ask , with good projects and skills in embedded and work experience(web dev). Can I offset having a Colombian degree even if it's ABET accredited? I would like to continue in America but it's not really possible I feel like with my family situation.

Need advice,am currently switching careers from IT to electronics engineering but after working for a few years I want to teach full time. Do I need a PhD?

Hello my name is Feisal I'm currently 26 Im planning on doing a second undergrad in electronics engineering in Colombia. I'm a US citizen and did my first undergrad in the US but due to ABET accreditation I think it's best to do a second undergrad instead of a masters. After my undergrad I plan to work and do a masters. Essentially I want to work a few years and teach the rest of my life by a few years I mean really 3-5 maybe a bit more but I don't plan to be working all my life, I just want to get some solid experience before I go into teaching so I can help students the best way possible I have a true passion for teaching and helping people learn, I like research a bit but not a whole lot to be honest. However my only concern is job stability as just being a lecturer, I really don't want to do a PhD I plan to live in Colombia or the US and help manage my parents business long term and teach. I don't really care about money, obviously I don't want to be poor or anything but I don't need high 200k plus salaries id rather have a life and more time, I learned that after losing my brother at 22. My question is do you recommend i still go for a PhD or should I finish my second undergrad work do my masters and start teaching?

Second undergrad at 26 or masters degree? In electronics and software engineering?

Hello I'm 26 im from the US and did my undergrad in the US in information technology but have to study in Colombia due to family issues. I plan to study at Javeriana or Los Andes they are both ABET accredited However I don't know if I should go for a second ABET accredited undergrad or a masters instead and taking all the foundation courses. I am very frustrated because I feel to old to do a second undergrad but am worried about not being accredited and having to back to the US.

How are international masters degrees viewed by American engineering companies?

Hello I'm currently 26 and as the title says essentially due to family circumstances I have to move to Colombia I was born and raised in the United States. I have to do my masters there I'm a career switcher from a information technology but I got my undergrad in the United States. The only two ABET accredited electronics engineering and software engineering schools are Javeriana and Los Andes, for electronics and computer engineering my question is how is this viewed within embedded systems for government and non government will I be disqualified? For finding work ? Should I do a second ABET accredited undergrad instead?

Will an ABET accredited school from another country work to go back to the United States for Embbeded Software or should I do an online masters instead from an American University? I am a US born citizen and did my undergrad in Houston.

Hello everyone I'm currently in a bit of an issue I'm currently a grad student at my local university in computer engineering/ software engineering. I want to do embbeded software engineering supporting NASA eventually. However due to family circumstances it is very likely I will have to back to where my family is which is in Colombia. Due to this I've been looking at ABET accredited engineering schools here but I don't know how valuable or respected they would be compared to universities in the states. Alternatively I have found some software engineering programs online with foundations in embedded systems and I wanted to know if maybe those work instead?

If anyone can help I would appreciate it. I would assume I could go for online computer engineering programs but none have the foundations that I would need to take coming from un related background except the one at my local school in Houston.

Graduate student in USA should I do CS or CE if I want to possibly move back to Colombia?

Hello everyone I'm 26 and currently doing my masters in computer engineering and computer science. I have 3 years of web experience but I was trying to go for embedded software/IoT because it's more stable here in Houston. But in Colombia I don't see much of a market. Is there anything else I can go for in Colombia? Backend development? Enterprise software? I would like to live in Colombia because my family is all here. I am a dual citizen.

Embedded software, IoT and robotics Market in Colombia

Hi, my name is Feisal, I'm 26 years old, I was born in the United States, and my family is from Colombia. I'm a master's student in systems engineering and electronics. In my undergraduate studies, I studied general computer science and focused on web development, but the truth is I don't want to do that anymore, which is why I decided to pursue my master's. The thing is, my family is looking to go back to Colombia, but why are there not many jobs in embedded systems, the Internet of Things, or robotics? I wanted to ask if there are companies in that field in Bogotá.

UI/UX front end skills + embbeded/robotics

Hello I'm currently doing my masters in computer engineering I am trying to transition to embedded software engineering. I wanted to inquire about it there is any used for my prior front end skills and user experience and user interface design and physiological skills. Or is it better to shift my mindset and leave that in the past? Is there any area that connects these two?

Do I really have to be good at classical mechanical type physics to succeed in computer and embedded software engineering?

Hello as the title says I'm currently a career switcher and grad student in CE. I have realized I am struggling greatly with my physics 1 summer class and unlike other concepts of computers and programs I absolutely have no interest in classical mechanical physics like calculate the force or pull of something or tension etc. Do I need to

be good / like this to succeed? This is my college program.
