It has some issues and Im trying to weigh up which ones are actually important enough to repair. The a button only responds when pressed a certain way, so I've ordered a new abxy membrane to replace it. The upper display is scratched but works, touchscreen is the same. The thumbstick is a bit worn and doesn't feel very smooth but it works and finally of course, the dreaded hinge crack.
I've done worse console repairs but this console is special to me and I don't want to mess it up.
I have the burgundy dsi XL and the screens are perfect condition everything works great but the area around the d pad looks horrendous. Also I never liked the glossy top cover either.
Do any of the variants use a different plastic that doesn't have this issue?

Quick question, my shifts at work are 7.5 hours, I'm on a casual basis and get paid 262$ for the 7.5 hours.
I only work during the week but my boss asked if I can do a Sunday shift to help him out so I agreed. For the Sunday shift, same amount of hours, i got 299$, I thought penalty rates for Sunday was 1.5?
