We got new tenants in April. A woman 50-60s with her 20 year old autistic son.

They seemed lovely when we meet them, she mentioned she has 2 older sons who live nearby. She was very grateful for the flat as her and her son had been living on her mums sofa and they could only find HMOs that were affordable and she didnt want to live on seperate floors with strangers with her son which is understandable so we were happy to have them as tenants. She did mention her universal credits and housing benefits but she had all the documents to pass referencing and seemed a perfect tenant.

3 months on, her rent has been late every month [seemingly due to universal credit messing up her pay dates, they were meant to pay us direct but she had to provide more forms, now month 3 and its late again (by a week this time- 2-3 weeks previous months). I really want to give her benefit of the doubt that she is being geniune but each month the excuses become more elaborate (she told me last month her daughters face got mauled by a dog .. not sure how this relates to late rent but she tells me these random tidbits when I ask for expected payment day).

Now yesterday we have recieved a handwritten letter through the post, from the downstairs neighbour, who has paid £7 land registry to locate and find our address to reach out to us as they are struggling to live below our tenants. This letter claims there are 3 men living upstairs with this woman and they are seen on the street screaming, shouting and hurling abuse and damaging things. We called the person who wrote the letter and they have sent us videos they have recorded of a man lying on the street screaming and swearing and a lady heard screaming from upstairs. The man laying on the street in the video is not the young son we have meet. They said this video is not the worst they have witnessed.

I have told the neighbour to report to council/police and keep a record but i am not sure how we are going to approach this. I would like to carry out a property visit but of course she will deny additional people living in the flat and im not sure how to go about eviction if her rent gets paid eventually as its been 3 weeks late month 1, 2 weeks late month 2, apparently this month will be 1 week late but i need to wait and see if she actually pays or if a new excuse comes up when the week is up.

Its a tough situation as i was really happy to help her and she seemed so grateful and appreciative when we first offered her the flat as her and her son have been "homeless" (sofa surfing) for quite some time.

My husband did note that she mentioned "foreigners" a few times when talking about her situation of being unable to find a flat so that shud of been a red flag tbh and im starting to regret choosing this tenant.

Our last tenant was a young girl who had ample issues and lost her job shortly after the tenancy and had 4 cats (permission for 1 cat) and would call me at 10pm at night to complain about the neighbours and all sorts of basic things that i would never dream of calling my landlord about, so I was grateful for an older tenant this time as we assumed she would be more sensible but now I am very concerned and unsure the best way to approach this 🙈 thank you for reading if you got this far.

At the centre of the action for much of the season, pulling strings and commanding attention. Every carnival needs a Ringmaster, but this one couldn't direct the final act.

Always around the biggest moments, serving entertainment with every round. A memorable personality whose story ended just short of the finale. Everybodys no1 ally and Big Brothers favourite midnight chatterbox.

The game had its highs and lows, but they kept coming back for another ride. A strong competition threat. A resilient player who never stopped spinning. Charlie stayed loyal to his alliances.

Pulled off impressive tricks throughout the season, but eventually ran out of illusions when the house finally saw behind the curtain in a shocking blindside.

I couldn't pick just one joke, so I'm gonna tell 9. Each one of you's gameplay. 🤩

Taco's game: The whole premise of a talking game is that you talk, and somehow that's the one part you skipped. Every nomination you act worried you're gonna be evicted but I'm not sure you try?

Droopy's game: Funny guy, and people enjoy having you in this house. But apparently that's very scary to the other houseguests. Maybe try telling people to fuck right off next time. Also your survivor gameplay was boring, you're just doing it again aren't you.

Pika's game: Observant and strategist. You'd actually be good if you did something with that and start building your resume.

Fewmatch's game: Whatever your friends decide, you agree. Unfortunate detail, these friends won't remember your loyalty when they choose to evict you. Choose your teammates wisely, be careful with who you are trusting so much. Just open your eyes for once

JP's game: Tries to make "big" moves, ends up just making a lot of noise instead. People just smile and nod at you and then vote the opposite way. Maybe you could try to actually have people supporting your moves before you do them. Also you enjoying exposing every alliance just makes people not work with you, just so you know.

Mini: Hummm. Maybe win something so you're not nominated for the 5th time?

Fisherman's game: Every time Charlie makes a new alliance a baby unicorn dies. Lies so often for no reason at all. People compare what he tells them just to have a laugh, and he still acts like he's manipulating everyone. "Let's control the game" he says, to everyone.

Golden's game: Best sidekick in the game, loyal, and exactly who you want next to you at the end. Which is rough because his allies will win the game next to him. You either stop playing for other people or you're guaranteed 2nd place.

Gloomy. Solid, chill, well connected. Great player. Except he tells people things he really shouldn't, all the time. Maybe keeping secrets to yourself is not that bad of an idea.

That's nine.

This has been the worst gameplay in any season I have ever played. Congratulations.
