Fit check please? 6 week old, 13 lbs baby in an Artipoppe

I realize that he’s not supposed to be in a footie sleeper. I took this picture and took him out. I also read Artipoppes fit better when babies are bigger but was wondering if I could make it work? He is 13 lbs and 6 weeks old. I tried to get his legs in an M shape but idk if this is enough. Does this look ok or if not what can I adjust?

I’ve read so many conflicting things and I need to understand this better. I’m on maternity leave and my question doesn’t apply to those that pump at work. more so for occasional pumping

• if I pump and build up a small stash for times when I want to be away from the baby (not consistently but I’m thinking date nights, activities with my older kid)…do I still need to pump at the time he’s being given a bottle? To protect my supply? so technically it doesn’t save me any time…right? If I pump and leave a bottle and go out to date night, do I need to pump while I’m out when baby has his bottle?

• i see sometimes dads/other caregivers will take over motn feedings by giving a pumped bottle. I thought the whole point of that is to give mom a break. but mom has to wake up to pump anyway? idk but to me that feels like more work than just bringing baby to me, feeding changing and going back to sleep?

• if you wait until two months pp to pump, i assume supply is established. so how does that work in terms of me trying to pump extra milk? if I pump and try to feed my baby after, there won’t be much milk left? If I feee my baby and pump after, I wouldn’t be able to pump much??

I have a 5 week old, a 2.5 year old, and a 4 year old. Everything just seems way more difficult with 3 kids than I’d anticipated. I’m dying to get out of the house and do stuff but I don’t know what and where is doable (even with my husband with us).

I’ve strolled the baby along to take the older kids to the neighborhood playground. But when he starts crying and we’re ten mins away from the house I don’t really know what to do (whereas if we’d gone somewhere with my car nearby I could’ve just fed him in the car). Shorter walks around the house are ok because I can quickly take him back home if needed.

But where else can we really go? My older kids like going to the library and a soft play area but I’m not taking a newborn to a library (he might be loud lol) and keeping him far away from soft play germs.

Idk if I should attempt a restaurant? A mall? Any other ideas? Also right now I still have my husband with me but once he returns to work in a few weeks it’ll just be me + 3 kids. And I definitely don’t feel like I can handle them somewhere outside alone so wth am I going to dooooo lol
