one of my buyers received their parcel ripped open with the item I sold them not inside and only the thank you card i sent with it. I looked up the tracking to see the proof of delivery photo and it was infact delivered to them like that (god knows how evri thought that was acceptable??). I sent it in one of those waterproof mailing bags that if you know you know that they’re incredibly hard to just rip open without making a big hole and this is a clean cut so it looks like someone has sliced through it and taken the item, especially since only the card was left. I tried to raise this as an issue with evri but they don’t care. what should I do? I can’t send a replacement but also feel it’s unfair to offer an out of pocket refund since it isn’t my fault and this shouldn’t have happened, it’s evri’s fault and i’m not a business, i’m selling on vinted, so it’s not like I have the money to offer a refund and lose out on my part of it.

see my previous post on this sub for history but this is the current updated tracking. still not delivery attempts made, i’ve been in all day since thursday and we have a ring doorbell so can check footage. it’s a shipment from a US company so was shipped with passport global but then passed over to Evri once it got to the UK and on the passport global tracking it’s been saying that the courier doesn’t have the package for the last few days. someone commented on my other post saying that often if tracking isn’t updated till the next day it means the driver didn’t sign out before clocking off and the parcel gets lost/mixed up in the system and not picked up the following day. 4 days in a row now it’s been “your parcel will be delivered today” tracking not updated for 24hours and then “your parcel couldn’t be delivered today”. i feel like it’s just laziness at this point from the delivery drivers - just sign out and say you couldn’t deliver it so at least it gets put in the correct piles to be delivered the following day 🙄🙄🙄

all week i’ve been waiting for this parcel, raised multiple enquiries with the chat bot thing and even after their “24 hour response guarantee” no response. no delivery attempts have been made, we have a ring doorbell so can check.
