How do I deal with an alcoholic noisy neighbor?

My neighbor is in his 60s he’s an alcoholic (goes to the pub everyday from around 2pm till 8-11pm) when he comes home he’s shouting down the street in which is a small cul de sac of 10 bungalows. During the summer months it’s absolute torture he leaves his front door open,I can hear him drunk shouting, his tv on loud and also he’s a frequent weed smoker, I’ve hardly ever seen this man sober. He thinks we are on good terms because I have friendly conversations with him, and when I’m on the verge on pulling my hair out I do have to go round at midnight sometimes even 4 in the morning to ask him to politely keep it down. I have to be honest and as evil as it is I wish he would drink himself to death. I hate the man, I need to sleep. For those who are wondering why not report him or get the authorities involved, he’s someone you wouldn’t mess with not because of what he would do but because of the people he knows in which he could make me disappear….

Daft question, but I think switching from my fixed wire retainer to a essix retainer is making me clench my teeth at night, could it be?

I had a permanent wire retainer at the back of my upper front teeth for 15 years (f27) and it broke so I opted to get a essix retainer instead and since I’ve noticed that I am clenching my teeth when asleep. The essix retainer is great and I have no problem with wearing it, it’s not uncomfortable and sits great but I am weirdly very hyper aware that it’s in my mouth and I think its subconsciously making me bite down on it while asleep. My retainer does have some bite marks but only on the back 2 molars top and bottom. It’s now causing jaw, teeth and gum pain. Is there an alternative to this? Maybe a night guard at night? Or switching to using the retainer during the day? I have booked into see my dentist next week as I’d like to make sure I haven’t damaged any teeth or old fillings.

I’ve been on spironolactone since March 2025, first 3 months at 50mg then I was moved up to 100mg. Spironolactone has been the only thing to clear my skin, I’ve never felt happier. But there’s a catch. In August last year i started with vulva/labia burning and initially thought it was maybe contact dermatitis from a wash or detergent. I ruled everything out and couldn’t find a cause, it then got worse and i developed uti symptoms, my vulva is red, sore, burns and sometimes swells, I was told by my gynaecologist I have vulvovaginitis but nothing works… antibiotics topical/oral, antifungals topical/oral, topical steroids. It’s now affecting my urethra which I’ve been told after an examination is red and irritated causing discomfort similar to a uti. I believe spironolactone has affected my hormones and caused my vaginal problems. I dread coming off the medication as it was my last resort but i definitely can’t handle the vaginal side effects anymore. Has anyone else had these problems and once stopping spironolactone they went away?
* I have also reduced my dose to 75mg with no improvement to side effects.
