I know there's a few folks in here that do litter pick up and try to also do so with the community when they can? Is there anything like that planned or any areas people have noticed that needs attention?

Driving to work today, and all along 89/91/mainstreet from Logan to Smithfield there's just cops everywhere sitting on the side of the road lights on for the most part. Any reason as to why does anybody know?

Hey all, I've seen lots of people who are struggling to make friends and I get it, it's hard as an adult. I've created a new reddit page named r/CacheValleyConnect in hopes of bringing many diverse people together who might not meet otherwise. You have plans and want to invite more people, need a friend in general, know of some awesome events that need more exposure, or want to find a date? Head in over, drop the details and let people find you. Don't be shy and give it a try!

I've grown up fairly suppressed in terms of self expression as a fella, and that has led to some repercussions in my life. I've lived it like a jellyfish in the sea if you will, floating around but accepting the situations that arise. I've been haunted by the question "who are you and what do you want". Issue is I've never really given myself the affordability to ask that in any meaningful exploratory way. I'm going through divorce at the moment and have been asked this by my therapist, so men of reddit, how did you find out for yourself who you were?

Considering the vast size and regional differences of the United States, why has the federal government never been divided into separate regional governments, somewhat like the division between Rome and Constantinople, to make governing more responsive to local issues and reduce the disconnect between national lawmakers and the regions they govern?

With the recent reduction in public lands in the state of Utah, what is there we could expect to see aside from the privatization of that land? Why don't we have protections for public land that once designated it cannot be undone, in other words grow but never reduce? If this becomes the norm we look at a breakdown of ecological environments throughout the country that are unique to the United States. The threat of big oil for instance in the arctic near our wildlife preserve ANWR is a good example of this. In short, why aren't public lands protected more seriously like they aught to be and what can we do to fix that?

Howdy again y'all. My landlady provides our apartment structure paid washing and drying, with one machine for each function, side tangent, I think she does this as to keep the families from leaving stuff in it for long periods of time. My neighbors have apparently broken it, won't drain water, leaving it dysfunctional. She charged $1.50 for the wash, so I'm wondering if anybody in the valley charges the same or under for said wash. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I get that we don't fall into district 7, but listening to the Republican advert about how this guy would abolish all these taxes on things is ridiculous. It says if he's reflected given his unique position he could make it happen. Why hasn't he done it yet? Empty promises if you ask me. Better to look at someone with a real game plan and proven track record. It's the best thing you could do for your community and state in these upcoming elections. Voting smart keeps all these preying people out. Won't end up like Box Elder county.
