Beware of EBay Fakes

These are the best fakes I’ve ever seen. Weight is spot on, ridges look legit, security mark etc. Failed ping test. I suspected immediately once I realized they were shipping from China. Lesson learned. I did get my money back but took a while and my pride took a hit. Stick to trusted dealers fellow stackers!

Think I should turn them over to someone? FBI? Seems like small potatoes but I don’t know what else to do with them.

Trip to Boone NC, general help

Excited to explore Boone for the first time over Labor Day week. My cabin gives me access to the Watauga, but I plan to explore some too. Figured I would get a guide for 1 day to learn local tactics. Anyone have advice for local shop, spots or flies for a first timer to the area? (I’m used to chasing small brookies in SNP, but would welcome some wild bows or browns on my trip). Thanks!

Dan’s irresponsible and foolish Shanahan take

So this “journalist” starts his Shanahan accident take by irresponsibly claiming Kyle changed his story? Kyle’s very first public comments were to correct a clerical mistake by police, and claiming fault. How is this changing his story? He goes on being completely befuddled by physics, that a car going 20 mph can’t possibly injure someone that bad. Then states it was a rear end accident while in fact if you read any bit of info it’s clear it was head on.

Friday shows are the best. Tuesday shows are a close second. Dan is a clown
