Call it delusion, call it blind faith, call it football heritage — I don’t care.
Until that highest possible position disappears, I will continue convincing myself that this season still has some more magical moments written somewhere.
Am I the only one who feels Amad needs our backing now more than ever?
Yeah, his last game wasn’t great. He looked off the pace, some decisions were poor, and you could tell things just weren’t clicking for him. Criticism for the performance is fair — that’s football.
But what I don’t get is fans already turning on him like he hasn’t been one of the few bright sparks for us this season.
This kid has shown hunger, confidence, creativity, and actually looks like someone who wants to take responsibility when he’s on the pitch. One bad match shouldn’t erase months of effort. Young players especially go through these dips, and if every rough performance is met with abuse, how exactly are they supposed to grow?
We keep saying United need players who play with heart, players who fight for the badge — Amad has shown that.
Support doesn’t only mean cheering when someone scores a worldie. Support means sticking with them when confidence drops too.
He needs guidance, patience, and fans behind him, not another wave of scapegoating after one poor night.
Back the lad. He’ll come good.
