Ive recently beaten Dervla and i feel like 90% of the time I was in a mine it’s really getting redundant. Even the swamp, the village and town looked like shitty wood scaffolding.
Any chance to see cool architecture before the end ?

I'm currently not satisfied with the standard kick pad from the roland td17 kvx kit. It's the KD10. I play with a double pedal and the sounds i get are less even in spacing and power than the actual acoustic sounds of the beaters hitting the pad. I'm tired of unsuccessfully tweaking every possible trigger setting.
I would like to setup "On trigger" pedal triggers with the module, would you know what kind of preset I should use ?
I intend to play on a practice pad. The goal is to play single stroke rolls around 200 bpm.
Should I use a specific pad from the module's library and adapt its sensitivity, threshold etc... ?

I feel like I either have bad luck with the last books I picked or that it's just how horror is conventionally written. Or goodreads horror lists suck. I feel like most books have way too much exposition or can get labelled as horror while almost nothing happens.
I also don't how it is where you live but in France bookshops horror sections are almost exclusively filled with Stephen King's stuff. I like most of his short stories but his novels are too digressive.
So following the recommendation of this sub for neophytes (thanks), I've ordered a book from Ketchum and an other from Laymon. I hope to find something I like. Cheers

Hello, just wanted to know if some of you use double strokes for their basic 16th notes tom fills or only singles.
Do you think they're adequate to play on an entirely acoustic kit or not ?
