Psychology undergrad in India → research abroad: which college should I choose?

I'm in Class 12 and want to study Psychology, with a strong possibility of doing a research-focused Master's/PhD abroad later. MBA is also a possibility, so I want to keep my options open.

I'm currently choosing between Fergusson (Pune), CHRIST/Kristu Jayanti (Bangalore), and University of Hyderabad.

I'm avoiding Delhi, Mumbai and Gujarat for personal reasons.

My biggest concern isn't really BA vs BSc or the college's ranking. It's actual research exposure.

Psychology is still developing in India, and I'm worried that even if a college has research-active professors, I might not actually get opportunities to work with them. I don't want to spend 4 years collecting certificates and doing unrelated internships and then have nothing substantial for a research Master's/PhD application.

I also feel Bangalore has a stronger psychology/mental-health ecosystem, followed by Pune and then Hyderabad. Is that actually true, and does the city make a meaningful difference?

For students/alumni of these colleges:

How easy is it to actually get research experience as an undergraduate? Are professors accessible? And which college would you choose if your main goal was research abroad?

Title: Shooting My Shot Because Apparently Miracles Happen 😭📚

A few days ago I saw a Reddit post where a stranger gifted someone a Kindle.

Now, logically, I know the chances of that happening to me are somewhere between "very low" and "please be serious."

But here I am anyway. 😭

I'm a student who absolutely loves reading. Most of my reading happens on my phone—novels, psychology books, articles, PDFs, basically anything I can get my hands on. The problem is that after a while my eyes start filing formal complaints.

I've spent an embarrassing amount of time watching Kindle reviews, comparison videos, and "Is a Kindle worth it?" discussions. At this point, I feel qualified to write a thesis on Kindles despite never owning one.

Unfortunately, student life and budget don't exactly make impulse purchases possible.

I'm not really expecting anything from this post. I just thought it would be funny to share that somewhere out there, a random stranger's kindness made another reader's day, and it genuinely restored a little bit of my faith in humanity.

So if nothing else, tell me:

- What are you currently reading?

- What's the best book you've read this year?

- And Kindle owners, what's the one feature that made you think, "Yep, this was worth it"?

Who knows, maybe one day I'll join the club too. 📚❤️

😭😭😭 economics legit efd up my situation

Guys, I am FED UP with Economics 😭😭😭

Every single time, Economics ends up eating a huge chunk of my percentage. I genuinely don't know how to study this subject anymore.

The biggest problem is that every teacher says something different. One YouTube teacher says, "Only these topics are important," another says, "Just do NCERT." But when I open my Radha Bahuguna publication textbook, there's so much more content than what they discuss in their videos.

At this point, I've even tried using AI to help me study, but honestly, I spent more time hallucinating random study plans, asking weird questions, and going down rabbit holes than actually studying Economics 💀.

Now I'm completely confused:

- Should I focus only on NCERT?

- Should I study everything from the textbook?

- Which teachers should I follow?

- How do I make notes for Economics?

I can somehow manage Indian Economic Development, but Macroeconomics is where I completely lose my mind. The concepts seem easy during class, but the questions in exams always confuse me.

I feel like everyone else has figured out some secret formula for Economics while I'm sitting here wondering whether I'm even studying the right material.

Class 12 students, seniors, or anyone who scored well in Economics, please save me. How did you study? Which books did you use? How did you prepare for Macroeconomics? Any advice would be appreciated because at this point Economics is becoming my biggest academic enemy 😭🙏

17f....in trouble😭😭

Class 12 ne officially meri mental health ka annual function rakh diya hai 💀

Bhai ye internal assessments, projects, practical files, viva, journals, assignments… ITNA SAB EK SAATH KYU 😭

Aur teachers bolte hai “abhi se complete kar lo warna baad me time nahi milega” — LIKE MA’AM MUJHE ABHI BHI TIME NAHI MIL RAHA 😭🙏

Mera plan tha ki Class 12 me productive, disciplined aur academic comeback karungi…

Reality: ek project kholta hu aur 2 ghante stationery arrange karti rehti hu 👍

Seniors pls help 😭

- Kaise jaldi complete kiye the internals?

- Kya sab perfect banana zaruri hota hai ya bas submit-worthy?

- Notes + boards + internals balance kaise kiya?

- Aur ye batao ki teachers actually pura padhte bhi hai kya 💀

Genuine survival tips dedo warna mai practical file me apna resignation letter submit kar dungi 🙏

( My dms are open for needing help please help me🥺🥺)
