Are coding assessments done on Google forms? Is this legit?

I’ve been applying to jobs and have been rejected from some or haven’t heard back at all. And I noticed an email I missed a few days ago from a recruiter from a company I applied for asking to do an assessment. And since this is my first coding jobs ever, I’m not sure if this is normal for the assessments to be on Google forms.

It’s a total of 20 questions all but one is multiple choice. I also am not sure of the sequence of these things. Like would the assessment come first or after the initial interview? Sorry for the stupid questions, this is my first time in this field. Thanks!

Tried to make an appointment for therapy and I hung up

Just venting here or if anyone has advice that’d be nice.

I’ve been having a hard time finding someone who takes my insurance so I can finally get diagnosed with possible adhd. My life has been awful because I can’t function normally and can’t focus on the things I need to focus on. Finally over the weekend through my insurance site I found a site/company for behavioral things that will take my insurance.

I emailed them for a booking (because it was 2am) and I put down that I can be reached through phone because I want to get rid of that fear of talking through the phone. Well yesterday I received a call back that I did not notice, and I did not have the courage to call back.

Today again I missed a call and called back soon after. The lady on the phone had some kind of attitude in her voice but I still answered her questions, it was not even 1 minute in when she started mumbling and I could not understand her and I got embarrassed from asking her to repeat herself so I hung up.

I feel terrible and I feel like it’s another step back into trying to get diagnosed. I thought it would be a guy answering because he sounded nice in the voicemail he left yesterday. So I went to check the voicemail he left today and he too sounded annoyed, he let out a deep sigh when saying he was reaching back about an inquiry I had sent.

i know they’re probably annoyed with me because I reached out but I’m not answering. I don’t know what to do right now, but knowing me, I’d probably never call back again and find some other place.

I have not gone to the doctors in a long time so I would ask my pcp but I don’t have a car to even get to one. I don’t have public transportation near me. So I’ve been trying to do this online.

Here’s my submission!

I use two different apps to count calories and I use the camera option for one of the apps but I’d like different opinions and then I just average it or something close

Random Ellen Pompeo appearance I came across today

I sometimes have the law and order channel in the background while I do other things at home and I took a glance at the tv and saw Ellen Pompeo’s name.

I watched for a few seconds and saw she was a victim in a hospital and her characters name happens to be Jenna Webber!

This episode is from 1996, I believe it’s her first tv appearance.

I’m being charged for a service I already paid for 6 months ago?

Back in January I did a video call with a doctor because I had a swollen cheek/gums due to a tooth infection. I didn’t have a car and didn’t have insurance so I paid $140 for the service. No problem because I was in pain and I was able to get medication for it. Problem resolved.

Fast forward to June, my mom tells me that while she was renewing her and my sisters insurance she lets me know that I somehow still have insurance as long as I send in proper documents from my employment. I tried to do it online because I was told I could but my information was not existent. To be honest, I didn’t care anymore and didn’t bother to call (depression, unemployed).

Three weeks later my mom gets her new insurance IDs and somehow I get one too. I’m confused but again due to my mental state I ignore it. Same week I get an email saying i am being refunded for the service I had back in January. I go to the app to make sure it’s real and it is. I don’t question it because again I’m unemployed and $140 is alot for me right now.

Now this week I get another email saying I owe $380 for the service!! I cannot call because I got the email yesterday and everything was closed and need to wait til tomorrow but if anyone has any idea what this could mean, that’d be great!

Will Practicode confuse me or actually help?

So I passed my cpc exam a couple weeks ago! And now I’m fixing up my resume and working on interview questions!

I’m also trying to work on getting rid of my A. I did a program prior to my exam so I’m now just trying to make some more money to get practicode and I’ve read many stories about the program being more confusing than the exam and studying over all. I also do know that real world coding from charts will be much different than studying was.

So my question is, does practicode actually help with experiencing real world coding or will it be confusing? I’m hoping I don’t get too confused over “wrong” answers or the way to approach the charts. Or is it close to the way doctors have things written out? Because I know they don’t always specify things the way coders need them to be.

How do you outline without seeing it while/after coloring?

This is my second try at coloring with colored pencils and I’m using a toned tan sketchbook.

I use a 2H pencil and try to outline as light as a I can but it still shows through the coloring! I am using crayola colored pencils because I didn’t want to spend too much on this just yet. Any tips?

I’m watching the show and got to season 9, episode 17, where a patient dies from ALS and it happens to be the same episode that Derek talks about being mad about Marks death and the renaming of the hospital to Grey Sloan Memorial.

It’s my first time watching the show so not sure if the timeline matches with already the knowledge of Eric Dane’s diagnosis or if it’s pure coincidence, considering he just recently died.

Thought I’d post something about it. Felt bittersweet.
