Lenovo LOQ came back with panel gap and slightly higher temps after onsite ADP repair
I recently had an onsite repair done on my Lenovo LOQ under ADP warranty because my down arrow key physically broke and became loose during normal use. Instead of replacing just the key, the technician replaced the entire front panel/top assembly.
After the repair, I noticed the back/bottom panel near the rear exhaust vent is no longer fitting properly. There’s now a visible gap and the panel does not sit flush like it did before the repair.
I’ve also started noticing slightly higher temperatures than before the repair, which is making me wonder if the panel or cooling assembly was not reassembled properly.
I’ve already contacted Lenovo support again and shared photos.
Has anyone else faced poor reassembly or fitting issues after a Lenovo onsite repair? Did they properly fix it afterward?

Broke my lenovo loq laptop's key
Hello everyone,
I recently broke the down arrow key on my laptop, the scissors/hinge mechanism under it, to be specific. The key still clicks, but it’s loose and it doesn’t reliably record presses.
I contacted the manufacturer's support team already. They requested some details and pictures of the issue, which I have sent. The good news is that my laptop is still under warranty, so I hope for a repair or replacement.
That said I would love to hear from others who have had similar issues:
Anyone else done this exact repair?
Any suggestions for avoiding delays or getting quicker support?
Is there anything I can check or prepare in the meantime while waiting for their reply?
Thanks in advance for any advice or experiences you have to share!
Update: Lenovo support is replacing the keyboard panel under ADP warranty , after I will not be able claim that.
