Old man back w/ a fit check!

Wet one out there today! Layered an old nylon raincoat over the nyco surplus pants, a lazy tee, and my trusty timbs.

The nyco surplus pants are surprisingly comfy in cooler temps as they retain heat at a decent clip. I got XL and definitely shoulda sized down, but I like the fit. Also, lazy tee forever. Best shirt I’ve ever owned.

My stepson and his friends told me I look like Yuji in the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo manga. 😂 I’ll take it!

The Oklahoman running this Op Ed on the day of Game 1 is a choice....

Why they elected to even publish this is beyond me. Wowie zowie. As a lifelong OKC resident and diehard Thunder fan, I am deeply embarrassed.

EDIT: Did some quick research, and the writer appears to be the nepo baby son of a doctor who practiced in OKC for some time. The son currently resides in either Chicago or NYC.

Hear Me Out: Wolves need to twist the knife...

Wemby dodging a fine, suspension, and coming back from Game 5 is certainly mildly disappointing, but I think it presents an opportunity that has disguised itself through all of the elbow discourse.

There is no doubt Wemby is a generational talent. He's the current golden child of the NBA, driving viewership through the roof. However, the Wolves have dragged something into the light through this dogfight of a series:

Victor Wembanyama is 22. Young men are more prone to giving in to their emotions and lashing out, often acting on impulse.

If I'm the Wolves, I'm ramping up the physicality even more on Wemby. You're already in his head. It's time to live there for 48 minutes every game. Make everything agonizing. Wear him down. More mental mistakes means more lashing out. More lashing out means more gaps in the armor. More gaps in the armor means more ways to win.

Wolves in 6.
