How on Earth are you supposed to center images on screens so they center on the print pallet? S1/Screen Printer
TLDR; My experience/set up is nothing like the video walk through videos, how do you center an image on a screen, so it also centers on the pallet?
INb4; I am a total noob in terms of printing, and lasers, I am also crazy frustrated. I know my skillset is partly to blame.
I have burned through an uncomfortable amount of blanks due to prints not being centered. If I had hair I'd pull it out.
My problem of the xtool screen boundary in no way lines up to my physical print space. Every video I watch, the influencer's green boundary is inside the engravable area, that right off the rip is screwing up my centering but I thought I worked around that.
Problem is I didn't, kept being off
Now, I have labeled where I'm at. I manually marked inside the screen, I'm assuming the left and right lines may differ from x tools due to the built in "safe engrave" but that doesn't add up because my bottom boundary lines up with xtool's and i measured from the edge of the screen frame.
My top boundary does pretty much line up with my workspace, and the physical limited of my S1.
Now from my understanding the green cross is the center of the screen when using the guide jig. Which looks possibly close IRL, i didn't measure it.
But now what blows my mind is my wood pallet is centered on the screen printer itself. I placed a marker sticker on the center dot, and now my red laser marker is where that dot landed on the screen when loaded into the printer.
After watching a crazy amount of influencer videos, not a single one had to deal with any of this, or mention any of this process. Am I doing something wrong? Is my software settings off? Is there somewhere I can make this process easier?
