Cassette tape recording from radio stations

I remember the time I spent hours listening to FM radio stations in the 80's waiting for the host to play my favorite hits so I could record it.

I pressed Record, Play and Pause, and kept my finger on Pause, waiting for the right moment to start or end.

Anyone remembers these time's?

About how many songs could you fit on a cassette?

Who remembers Roy Rogers chicken NYC 1990's?

I remember my mom always taking me to Roy Rogers and enjoying the fried chicken combo with biscuits and fries. This makes me nostalgic.

What happened to them that they're no longer in NYC?

Do any of you remember it?

Managers access to cashiers' tills

I find it disturbing that ASM's, SM's, are able to manually open any cash register from the bottom by pulling on something under the drawer. I am a store associate and have grown paranoid recently about managers touching my till for even one second without me checking it all out.

This after me supposedly being short on my till over $20 the other day, even though I always double count the cash I handle.

When I went on my break, I used to simply press "Manager Key" and to take my 10 minutes. Now, I always take the precaution of pressing "Sign Off".

But, even with that, if I'm in the lunch room in the back and they want to screw me up, could they go and open my drawer mechanically and take money out?

Has this happened to anyone?

Also, what is the possibility of the register glitching out, especially since these systems honestly look 15+ years old, and this glitch causing your till to be under?
