31 yo, just became serious about my finances last year, only up from here (unless the market decides otherwise).

Religion & Level of Religiosity: I identify as a Muslim, but I’m not highly practising. For me, kindness, respect, and shared values matter most in a relationship. I wouldn’t impose my beliefs on anyone. I’m open to someone religious or not religious at all, though I’d prefer someone who doesn’t strongly identify with being religious, as long as we can be mindful around family.
I don’t always eat halal. When I cook for myself, I usually get halal meat, but not always when dining out.
Hobbies & Interests: I’m rarely sitting idle, I like to keep myself busy. Lately, that means hiking, skating, learning French, and trying to pick up the piano. My current goals are to read Harry Potter in French and learn River Flows in You on the piano by the end of the year (ambitious, but we’ll see).
I also plan to travel a bit once I get my Canadian passport. I’m a big history nerd and enjoy reading, mostly fiction. I’ve been told my humour is pretty witty, and I appreciate a bit of old school banter. I’m generally open-minded about most things… except maybe sushi. I also enjoy cooking and can hold my own in the kitchen.
I’m into working out, not chasing any physique goals, just trying to stay consistent and healthy. It’d be nice to be with someone who’s into fitness too, but it’s not a dealbreaker.
Family Details: My family lives back home, my parents and two brothers.
Requirements for a Partner: Ideally, I’d prefer someone already in Canada or the US, but if you’re in Pakistan or somewhere else, that works too. If you’re in Canada or the US, we can work on relocation.
If you’re into sports or staying active, that would be a big plus. I respect personal choice of dressing, whether that’s modest or not, I do appreciate someone who has a strong sense of personal style.
Deal Breakers: I don’t have a long checklist. If you’re confident, can hold a good conversation, and enjoy life, that’s more than enough. Just don’t be a smoker, please or use drugs. I’m fine if you enjoy the occasional glass of wine.
