Is it feminist to kill men in your music videos?

If you feel I am overreacting, you can always scroll past and not reply.

Sabrina Carpenter kills off some creepy men in her music video "feathers". All music videos released later depict innocent men being killed and it's played as a joke.

Recently learned that it's a trope used by multiple artists and it's considered empowering and funny. As a feminist, do you find such tropes empowering?

Celebrities and politicians insulting men to celebrate women

Posting this because he's now being criticised for being "sexist against women", while the media celebrates statements generalising and stereotyping men. Zero political motivations but I'd never vote for him to be the PM, neither do I like the parties selectively calling out sexism.

She does kill some "males" in the music video

Twitter posts are one thing but we really should be discussing the glorification of "killing men" thing more often.

Pop artists killing men for female rage

It's now a common theme in pop music that men get killed by women and it's meant to be empowering. "Punching up" is the term they would use if you call this out in feminist subreddits.

Isn't it suspicious that feminists say they want to help men be vulnerable, how they want men to cry , how the patriarchy doesn't allow men to talk about their problems but then they make such media straight up promoting literal violence and murder?

I'm thinking of writing a long post soon but I want to hear what you all think.
