I just got a guitar for my birthday!

I’m so happy! I’ve been wanting a guitar for a while, but I’m broke to the point I don’t have 200 bucks to my name. A week ago my mom and I went to a music store that had literally everything from pianos to drums and flutes. I picked a guitar thanks to the specialist in the store. So today’s my birthday, and I go downstairs (I live with my parents still) and the guitar case is laying on the table along with 2 cards and three other gifts (a toning device and plectrums, a standard and two books)

Hello people of the gardening community, I got plants as a gift and am trying to plant them. I have no green thumbs at all, but I’ll try to keep them alive. They’re all herbs and one without a name and my friend isn’t telling me what it is (I think he doesn’t know either). But anyway is it normal for the roots to be like that? Or are they doomed from the beginning?
