Ive always wanted to be a vet or do something with animals that pays well but the harsh reality of me not being allowed to because of my terrible scores has set in. Even with a "academic comeback" my ATAR will still be terrible no doubt
Realistically hit me with the hard truth I've never been a top student. I'm not gifted
My thinking was if i got 70% in each subject overall id get a pretty decent atar but according to the calculator it'll be below average. Now for my subjects bio, marine science, business, gen maths, english if i got 80% for each overall it reckons my estimated ATAR would be 78.80. Like how am i even supposed to get a good atar atp? unless i get 100% for each it seems impossible to get a good atar unless you dont see the sun and sit indoors studying all day like the asian kids do.
Google says its 70 some say its 65 others say 60 which one is it? ik its where you place amongst everyone in the state but 70 seems really ridiculous, essentially implying that 30% of people dropped out or failed completely. Honestly dont know how im supposed to compete against people who try too hard, not to mention how unfair my teachers are with marking my IA assignments, its as if they place you into a category depending on how well you perform throughout all of school and they only allow you grades within a certain range after you're placed into that category.
Theres this girl I see every time I go to this convenience store near me and she's really pretty, shes spoken to me before and sorta knows who I am as in she knows my name but not much about me and she doesn't really look at me when im waiting in line or anything but she does give a certain look when im paying for my stuff. She recently accidentally gave me the amount I owed as change so I took it back and she was all like "oh thanks for being honest :)". But I really wanna ask her to be my gf but idk how. Do I just ask like that? Do I ask to go out? What do i do?
