I'm a CS guy, but love Mechanics and Robotics... Help??

So I've built this as part of a project back in college for a robotics subject project, my design was to use brushless motors (those orange ones) instead of these brushed DC motors. The issue was that my teachers put up a restriction on the battery size and also the motors' functional specifications.

So now I have the brushless motors and my ESCs. Instead of the Bluetooth receiver I have an FS CT6B transmitter receiver, which I'm planning to use.

The issue is the front servo that was put up to make a turn. It was really bad. The servo is good but the fitting to the front rod I wasn't able to figure out how to do that. If there's any drastic change you guys want me to make, I'm open for those. If you would recommend any changes, any small adjustments to make, I'd recommend those and I'll be able to go ahead with that.

The suspensions, the springs that I've used, are quite strong and also they are on a screw so they get caught and are slightly rough. That's another issue that I would like to address. Honestly I don't even know if it's of value to make all those changes and my battery also is puffed so I think I should buy a new battery. Do you guys think it would work out well and what changes would you recommend me to make? How and why as well...

Palantir Software Engineer New Grad

I've given the first round of interview... It was a 45min coding round.

One single simple string manipulation question was asked.

Thought it was a logical issue, spent like 10 solid minutes, turns out it was just an indentation issue 😭.

But the interviewer was pretty chill and tried his best to help me out as well.

I'm not confident, but I have a feeling that I might be qualified for the next rounds.

Was wondering what's the typical process since FDSE's usually have Decomp rounds and Virtual on sites, how do the rounds look for New Grad Software Engineers?

Question asked (not the exact wording but the question logically is :

"You are given a sentence (a string of words) and a query string consisting of two words. Additionally, you are given an integer K. Find all positions in the sentence where the first query word appears. For each such position, check if the second query word appears within K words after it. Return the positions where this condition holds."

My Battery health is at 74%

My nothing phone 1 battery health is about 74% I check it on an app called AccuBattery which had good ratings and reviews on play store.

I do face issues with battery having me charge my phone twice or thrice a day with minimal usage.

Drops 20% or so over night with no usage.

I have no other issues and really love my phone. Bought it right around when phone 2 came out so it is kinda old ig.

Should I change my battery? Is 74% bad?

I do carry around a powerbank every time I go out so...

I honestly forgot if used to use a power bank whenever I was out in the beginning too, when the phone way newer.

Should I change my battery? I've heard that it costs only like 1.5k or so... (indian rupee)

Have on interview on 11/12th June 2026. SDE 1

It's a campus thing, I think a couple of colleges are invited if I'm not wrong.

It's in India so I was wondering what typa questions would be asked? It's for an Administrative support team, but weirdly has gen AI as well..

How many rounds and what exactly to prepare for in dsa, is system design gonna be asked at all?, and what about gen AI?

This Amazon role came to our Tier 3 college for placements and I'm not sure how good it is...

So this job opening at Amazon came to our college and I have the interview soon.

(Indian - Tier 3 University)

https://amazon.jobs/en/jobs/10423461/software-dev-engineer-i-chennai-amazon-university-talent-acquisition

But I'm not sure how good or bad this role is?
My friend says it's a support role, and it says Administrative Support too on the bottom.

P.S. I have an offer at Oracle for 16LPA base and 23CTC
And this is 30CTC and 19LPA base if I'm not wrong.

VS Code got the "Update" button on the top that was annoying me so I clicked it.
Now I'm unable to click the send icon on the chat Codex Sidebar.
It turns white when I start typing something, but Cmd + Enter, or Enter or Click, nothing worksss

This was my grandfather's Rajdoot (passed away recently), I've heard a lot of stories of him riding it and my dad and his brothers riding it with my grandfather and all of it. It's pretty old but I'm sure there's someone out there that can restore it.

I recently joined an office and was wondering if I should get it restored and use it for daily commute as a sentiment and I can get use of out it too right?

But apparently it's a 2 stroke engine and you need to use 2T oil or something with fuel, and it's not legal to drive them unless you get a FC and RC for antique bikes but then you can only use them for rallies or museums Ig? Or change the engine which is basically replacing all of the bike.

I can just leave it in the dump as it is or... If there's something doable that would've nice
