Star Health insurance rejected claim

Star Health insurance rejected claim

My uncle has star health insurance and paying all timely premiums since last 10 years. Yesterday my uncle slipped at home and fractured his Femur bone. I went to show my uncle at Star Health panel hospital where cashless treatment is allowed. Doctor did a regular blood test and x-ray and then forwarded case to PAC (Pre-Anesthetic Checkup) before Surgery to fix the bone . In PAC, all the basic details were noted by doctor before a surgery. Then hospital submitted case for cashless treatment approval to star health after submitting an estimate and other documents.

Star health with 20 minutes rejected the claim by picking a point from PAC where all the basic details mentioned such as no medications, allergy, lifestyle and 'socially consume alcohol' and quoted following:

"Based on the submitted medical records, it has been observed that the insured patient has undergone treatment for a condition resulting from the use of alcohol, drugs, or substance abuse. As per Alcoholism, drug or substance abuse Exclusion Code 12, the policy excludes coverage for any expenses incurred for treatment related to alcoholism, drug or substance abuse, or any addictive condition and its consequences. Therefore, we regret to inform you that the claim is not admissible."

There was nothing to substantiate to this reason in the documentary form such as in the blood test or anything. Now what to do because it is very illogical because the cause of fall is nowhere written as under influence of alcohol. We went ahead for surgery by bearing all the cost from the pocket. Please advise what should i do?

Edit: i have 2 choices either i get remark from PAC doctor that he wrote down 'social' in alcohol column due to mis communication and state there is no alcohol history.

Or i get remark from ortho doctor who did surgery that there is no alcohol sign in patient and in his blood reports which may relate to this injury. (This time we may get claim but in future, there are chances if we go for any heart, liver ir other related issue, They will outrightly deny the claim stating this 'social' remark in PAC report.

Please guide with which option i should go?

Is there any way to find the Battery backup since last full charge in OS 16

I have attached 2 screenshots of my SoT for 2 different days. In OS 15, there was a chart which showed SoT since last 100% charge of battery and i was able to find the total SoT and battery backup. But now in OS 16, there is data of SoT only for last 24 hours. Is there anyway i can find my total battery backup when i charge my phone to 100% but discharge it in more than 24 hours?

is TCL Q6C worth at 40,500 on amazon for next 5 years

I bought 55" Nokia QLED back in 2021 (my worst mistake as the company has gone and display of the TV become so much blue that every movie played on it become 'BLUE MOVIE', and so 'DIM' that if a little sunlight in room, no one can see if TV is on). I mostly watch movies/ series/ Youtube on TV and no gaming. Sometimes download movies and watch through Pen Drive.

So, recently I decided to ditch that 55" TV with a must requirement of high brightness (at least 600-700 nits) and in Mar, 2026 i came across TCL C6KS at amazon around 34000. As soon as i could research about it, the sale was gone. Later, i again research across TVs, I found that Mini LEDs are good to go with. Since I am not fan of any non-Google TVs which does not provide app sideloading, So i am only left with Sony, TCL, XIaomi. Xiaomi Latest S Mini LED and Sony 2M2 (no Mini LED, but equivalent to Mini LED) price is beyond 50,000.

So I only left with TCL C6KS, Q6CS, Q6C and C6K (C6KS and Q6CS are out of stock on both amazon and Flipkart) and 55" Q6C is available at amazon in sale. Should i wait for KS or CS version which i heard brightness wise same as C and K version. So please suggest does KS and CS version are really worth and should i wait for them to get back in stock or I should go with Q6C right now.

TLDR: Does Q6C is better to go at 40500 from amazon to use for next 5 year (mostly watch movies/series by downloading) or wait for Q6CS or C6KS version currently out of stock (which might available below 35000) if not much difference in quality and are enough for my requirements
