Canada Supplied 53% of Germany’s Entire Medical Cannabis Imports in Q1 2026 $LUFFF / $HERB.CN Quietly Building Real Momentum with Portugal Partnership

$LUFFF

Canada absolutely dominated Germany’s medical cannabis market again.
According to the latest BfArM data (Germany’s regulator):

• Germany imported 50,539 kg of medical cannabis flower in Q1 2026

• Canada supplied 26,753 kg → 53% market share

• Portugal was a distant #2 at ~20%

Germany is one of the fastest-growing and highest-margin medical cannabis markets in Europe and Canadian producers are taking the lion’s share.

Why this is especially relevant for $HERB right now: Just yesterday (May 14, 2026), Herbal Dispatch ($HERB / $LUFFF) announced it signed an exclusive strategic supply agreement with an EU-GMP licensed cannabis processor based in Portugal. This deal builds directly on their first successful export in January 2026 a 298 kg shipment of medical cannabis that was processed in Portugal and sent into Germany’s regulated medical market. Following the success of that initial shipment, they have now turned the relationship into a full strategic partnership for scalable, recurring exports into Germany and other European markets. EU-GMP certification is the strict gold standard required for medical cannabis in Europe.

This low-capex Portugal route gives $HERB a real, compliant pipeline into Germany without needing to build its own overseas facility. While bigger players like $TLRY (with licensed production inside Germany) and $OGI are also active in Europe, $HERB is a tiny micro cap C$8M market cap, trading around $0.06) that is actually executing on Germany right now through this Portugal gateway.

Canada has a massive export advantage (no domestic excise tax), and Germany’s demand keeps climbing. Herbal’s new EU-GMP Portugal partnership looks like a smart way to capture more of that growth in 2026.This feels like a classic hidden catalyst for a stock this small.

$Herbs latest PR highlights they are ahead of the game here establishing this contract in Portugal.

Herbal Dispatch ($HERB.CN / $LUFFF) just secured an exclusive EU-GMP processing partnership in Portugal we're officially in the European medical cannabis game

Today's news just dropped and it's a solid step forward for Herbal Dispatch. The company announced an exclusive strategic supply agreement with an EU-GMP licensed cannabis processor based in Portugal. This deal lets them ship Canadian-grown medical cannabis over there for compliant processing, packaging, and distribution directly into regulated European markets, starting with Germany.

This builds directly on the proof-of-concept they ran back in January: that first 298kg export to Germany via a Portuguese EU-GMP partner. What started as a test shipment is now turning into a formalized, exclusive pipeline for recurring volume. Germany is still the heavyweight in Europe record imports, patient numbers climbing, and regulations loosening so having a compliant on-ramp there matters. Why this deal stands out:

  • Exclusivity on the supply side gives them priority access and a real competitive edge for scaling exports without scrambling for partners every time.
  • EU-GMP compliance is the non-negotiable ticket for European pharma-grade markets this setup cuts through the usual red tape on permits, quality standards, and re-export.
  • Positions them for multiple follow-on shipments in the coming quarters, turning one-offs into predictable revenue.
  • Fits their broader global play: strong Canadian e-comm (HerbalDispatch.com + HeroDispatch.com), successful international edibles (first gummy export to Australia pulled ~$350k revenue), and shipments already landing in places like Brazil and Czech Republic.

At these microcap levels with a tighter float, milestones like this can create real torque if they deliver on volume. Management's been talking about building a true international supply chain, and this feels like de risking the EU side while domestic brands (new extracts launch, etc.) keep the home base growing. Of course, it's still early-stage in a brutal regulatory space execution, competition, and macro cannabis sentiment can all swing things hard. But the pieces are aligning: proven exports, certified pathways, and a clear focus on high-margin international markets. Not financial advice, DYOR, etc. I've been following this one and today's announcement makes the international thesis a lot more tangible. Anyone else in or watching? What's your read on the EU ramp potential?

Just saw the latest update: Herbal Dispatch is reporting accelerating veteran customer growth and expanding its insurance-focused service channel through HeroDispatch.com. This isn’t some one time pop. The veteran and insured medical segment is built on repeat purchases backed by Veterans Affairs Canada reimbursements (roughly $245M market annually and still growing). These customers order consistently, with retention rates north of 89% in their plan targets, and the channel delivers gross margins over 50%. That’s real recurring revenue predictable cash flow that shows up month after month instead of chasing volatile recreational sales. In cannabis retail, the difference between good and great businesses is how much of the top line is sticky and high-margin. Veterans using direct-billed insurance aren’t price-sensitive one offs; they’re high-LTV patients who keep coming back for product that helps with pain, PTSD, and other service-related conditions.

The upgraded platform is designed specifically for clinic integration and insurance backed ordering, which should drive even higher conversion and lifetime value. They’ve already laid out the 2026 plan targeting 200% growth in veteran medical sales. If they execute even close to that while keeping the margins and retention where they are, this becomes the engine that funds everything else recreational expansion, exports, and actual profitability. This is the kind of structural advantage that separates companies that just sell weed from ones that build durable revenue. The insured medical channel is still underpenetrated, and Herbal Dispatch is positioned right in the middle of it with the right platform and focus.

News daily + Huge volume as of the last 3 weeks, positioned for the long game.

2 more massive updates today. I know your getting tired of it if you don’t own it, if you do then ur having a quite exciting last 2 weeks.

Trade volume is insane for a .06c company. Their international expansion is being executed as stated by management.

Their in house gummie line drops the same week as they pr a $350k order to auz.

2 orders out the door to international markets in the last 2 months, and by reading the pr it looks like there are many more in the chamber "Herbal Dispatch will provide further updates as additional shipments progress."

Really are no comparable models in the sector. This is a unicorn in the making.

At this rate there should be more news coming next week, no way they take their foot of the break now.

The market would be loading 33m shares in the 2 months if there was nothing happening.

Go to their websites (multiple) and look at what they got going on. Some blue collar dd is simple with this one.

Take a look at this video that was dropped this morn! will be in the comments

Herbal Dispatch announced today that it is accelerating its U.S. market plans in response to the U.S. HHS recommendation to move cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III. This potential reclassification, if finalized by the DEA, would remove the Section 280E tax burden, improve access to banking and institutional capital, and support broader industry growth.

Key points from the update:

  • The company is evaluating strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and platform distribution opportunities in the U.S. with a focus on medical cannabis channels.
  • Herbal Dispatch plans to leverage its experience in patient acquisition, veteran programs, and direct-to-consumer medical sales from its Canadian operations.
  • Its asset-light, tech-enabled e-commerce model is designed for efficient scaling with lower capital requirements.
  • Already listed on OTCQB (LUFFF) with recent DTC eligibility, which should help with U.S. investor access and liquidity.

The company has built a solid base in Canada through its craft cannabis e-commerce platform and continues to focus on growth there while preparing for U.S. opportunities. This looks like a measured approach to position for potential regulatory changes. Worth watching if you're following cannabis stocks. What are your thoughts on this one?
