need a show with a strong premise
as i get older i have a harder time getting into shows. i need something to hook me.
preferably something on the underrated side

supposedly the title is kuruk: wave of chaos (okay??) “the spirits bane” would’ve been better but whatever
unpopular opinion but i’d much rather have a book.
bryke seems like they’re on a mission to strip and water down everything that made people fall in love with the series
i know f.c yee was only contracted for 4 books total but kyoshi still has over 200 years of potential stories left.
the time skip would be considerable. kyoshi was 17 at the end of her 2nd novel and the chin and dai li era take place during her late 30s/early 40s.
main problem with roku’s first book is the characterization of sozin and making him too suspicious off jump imo
everyone is picking up on it except roku. this dynamic between roku and sozin is supposed to go on for a few more decades?? lmao it just makes roku look like a complete dumbass. his stock was already in jeopardy
and y’all really want a kuruk novel by Randy?💀 he’ll ruin any intrigue y’all have about him
i originally theorized gun was from the water tribe but in LOK there's a character from the earth kingdom who's name is gun so its more of a possibility of them descending from there
based off the name alone i don’t get fire nation or air nomad vibes and i’m leaning more towards gun being a male
so what was the point of Boyd giving her that task of looking through old stuff in the basement if elgin’s dumbass is just gonna find the 1 thing that exposes the MiY? like i know most of y’all don’t like Acosta as a character but it’s little things like this that make S4 the worst season so far
IMO it goes
kenny mentions to boyd in a later episode that it was something different
idk about yangchen but for szeto i was thinking about possibly being poisoned
a cult that worships a spirit (possibly for something in return) would be interesting
