Making armor and need Help

Hello! I am currently working on a suit for armor for renfaire and im attempting to do a one pauldron setup with a cloak. THE VISION: The cloak will be attached on the underside of said pauldron to the other arm (across the back) and over the other shoulder. (please see attached photo)

QUESTIONS;

How would you recommend i attach the fabric to the foam?

How should i attach the pauldron to the chestplate? I was thinking belts, but if there's anything else that would work please let me know

Is it going to be too much weight? I'm using a light spandex like material for the cloak and maybe some fur for the other shoulder. but i dont know the extent foam can take. the pauldron is 6mm and the chestplate is 10mm (See Second Image)

Any future issues you think i might encounter?

Any Advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm new to foamsmithing and unsure of the constraints of the medium.

First Foam props made, lemme know y'all's thoughts

Just finished (for the most part) my first pieces of armor. First time doing foam work, please let me know if there's anything y'all think I should add or change. Did my best to hide the seams on the helmet, but the foam clay didn't stick. Some WIP photos as well.

I'm gonna put fabric behind the breathing holes and some tinted plexi behind the eye gaps but that might ruin it if I mess up so wanted to get the post up first.

Gauntlet is a template I modified from SKS and the helmet is also a template, but I forgot where I got it from

[VA] Could i get HR involved?

Be me, 22 working for a college for just under 2 years as a Student center assistant, one of only 2 in the building. supervisor for the gym and gaming center leaves, leaving the position open. (gym and gaming center is my primary location and was trained and mentored by previous employee) Have informed everyone for the last year that i was gunning for that position (previous employee was already planning on leaving) and have made it my goal to do so. Student center director (Temp) posts job and fails to inform me (i found it by chance) then has proceeded to avoid me untill today, where i find out the interviews are being had for said position and lo behold, i dont have one (learned this, wasnt told by director). I should mention that this director has preached since day one that they believe in hiring from within and climbing the ladder. (I have also been fulfilling this position's duties for the last month and a half)

This also wasnt their position to post as its not under their department, its under another but they 'stole the position back' their words not mine.

I should also mention that they seem to have a history of skewing hiring to favor who they want in the position, and there is a clear favorite that they want for this position. This person works at another campus and does event coordination, but has no experience in the fitness field and is making the same salary as this position, they are just coming from a different campus. (the same campus my director is from and the same her last hire is from).

Do i have grounds to take this to HR and oppose the Hiring Process? Anything else i can do? How should i approach?

TLDR; Hiring process seems skewed to not include me and remove me from the availability for the position. Has a clear favorite to take position and seems to already have mind set, removing me is appart of that. wasnt her position to post but posted it anyway as a power grab.
