200k venture x business SUB

Has anyone seen/received a SUB for the business VX above 200k? I know the SUB is 150k on their site so I reached out to a business rep and they offered 200k for the same SUB requirements.

Seems good to me!

I know no one can estimate what future SUBs are waiting, but curious if anyone has any recent feedback on SUBs when asked directly. Thanks!

Price match success w/ Super.com

Just got the notification that our price match was approved. Just booked the Ritz in atl for Falcons weekend and submitted a price match from Super.com. Never heard of super before until I saw some people posting it here for matching.

The only difference I could find was that Chase cancelation was up until 3 days before booking and Super was up until 6 days before booking. Guess Chase didn’t mind that. Price matching seems to be hit or miss these days so I was curious to see if this would get approved. The booking on Super was the regular booking + cancellation.

Given this was my first time booking via Chase/edit, it did take me a minute to realize the exact booking + cancellation to look for when checking other sites for pricing. Super was the only one that was different/lower. Everywhere else was the same.

$884 all in total for 2 nights in atl and with the approved price match, we’re getting $108.42 back. Paid $250 cash + the price difference I was finding online so that way the credit hits my cash paid and not my points or edit credit.

Not bad at all for edit credit, price match approval and then 1.65x points boost!

Hopefully the ritz in atl is nice! Close to Mercedes Benz stadium so can’t complain about that.

LGA Sapphire Lounge

The sapphire lounge in LGA was a fantastic experience. Newer to the lounge access game so don’t have a ton of comparison, but man I was impressed. Nicer than PHX, which is the only other sapphire lounge I’ve been to.

It was packed, but somehow didn’t feel crowded - other than looking for a seat that didn’t have someone next to you.

Food was good, drinks were bomb. Staff were everywhere so food was coming out quick and trash was picked up promptly. I feel like the location could be easily missed though as the entrance is small and the map in the airport wasn’t clear.

Definitely worth going out of your way for! 10/10 experience. Would highly recommend the Ready For Takeoff drink.

Chase “trifecta” to pay estimated taxes worth it?

We have a chase “trifecta” with the CSR, FU and Ink business Premier. Is it worth the processing fees to pay with a CC to get the points? We’ll pay anywhere from $30-$40k/year in estimated quarterly taxes.

Some numbers using the Freedom Unlimited and Business Premier

~$30,000/year
+1.75% personal card processing fee = $525
$30,525 put on FU (1.5% back)
Turns into 45,783 points to transfer to CSR
Essentially paying $525 for 45,783 points. Basically $1 for 87 points.

Is that a bad deal? With points boost in the chase portal it seems to come out slightly on top dollar wise, but the end goal would be to find a transfer partner to then push those points further.

EDIT: found out business premier is straight cash back with no transfers allowed.*
That, or putting it on our business premier for 2.5% rewards
~$30,000/year
+2.89% business card processing fee = $867
$30,867 put on BP (2.5% on over 5k spend)
Turns into 77,167.50 points to transfer to CSR Essentially paying $867 for 77,167.50 points. Basically $1 for 89 points

Is it worth it to essentially buy these points? Is my math mathing? Thanks for the help!
