Hello I have recently found out people keep bugs/inverts and they have become a new obsession I’m looking into tarantulas (of course doing proper research) but am kinda scared of the time commitment I know most types live 15+ years I’m scared I won’t still like having a spider so many years down the line any recommendations for species that live less then 10 years I know males don’t live to long but I don’t know any places to get specificity males

I got spikey isopods a few weeks ago and I just found him dead I named him Sprnkle I know no one around me cares but he was my baby I loved him so much and now He’s gone I don’t want to be alive I failed him somehow I just want my baby back 😭
