what’s a small thing someone did on a first date that you never forgot?

not necessarily something romantic or expensive. i mean those tiny gestures or random details that made you think “okay, i really like this person.”

what’s a compliment someone gave you years ago that you still remember?

i randomly realized today that i still remember certain compliments people gave me YEARS ago, even ones from people i barely knew. it’s funny how one random sentence can stick with you forever.
what’s one you still remember?

what’s a subtle sign someone is deeply insecure even though they seem extremely confident?

find it really interesting how some of the most confident people can actually be deeply insecure underneath, and sometimes the signs are things we mistake for confidence.
not talking about obvious things like constantly seeking validation or putting other people down. what are the more subtle signs you’ve noticed in people who seem genuinely confident at first?
bonus points if it’s something you eventually recognized in yourself too.

my male friends always tell me to never text a guy first — are they right?

my male friends always tell me the same thing when it comes to dating: never chase a guy and don’t be the one to reach out first. according to them, if a guy is genuinely interested, he’ll find a reason to talk to you.
i always thought this was pretty normal advice, but apparently a lot of people think it’s childish and that you should just text whoever you like.
what do you think? are my friends right or is this just outdated dating advice?
