A chain credit union in my state boasts they have more than a billion dollars in assets and, more important to my post, they’ve branded a semi important local sports stadium with their name. Is this sort of credit union basically just a traditional bank at this point?

Not a huge deal just curious on others perspective.

I’ve switched to mostly using cash this past month….

and I’ve made more conscious, wiser purchases.

decided to only use my credit card for online purchases and that’s cut back a lot of the spending I would have made otherwise.

Should I wait to apply for another card if I am planning on getting a car loan soon?

debating on applying for Amazon Chase Prime but am planning on applying for a car loan sometime in the next few months.

Should I wait?

Not necessarily comparing their card options, but do you prefer Banks or Credit Unions more?

Got into the game recently and am still deciding between a mainstream regional bank and a credit union.
