Uk pill dispatch date
Any UK waiting listers get a dispatch date yet?
Any UK waiting listers get a dispatch date yet?
Hi guys, had my prescription approved today, I was nervous after sending photos because it took a few days to review but finally got the approval this evening.
I know UK suppliers have all said early July but I wonder how early is early? I go on holiday in August and really hoped for a boost and to get started for a couple of months for a boost of confidence.
Anyone have any idea on a date?
Thanks
Hi all
I’m a very disciplined dieter, or eat weller I should say! My issue is the nagging food noise and the desperation for sweet treats come 8pm.
I can go all day eating healthy, tracking my cals perfectly, working out daily, but come 7/8pm when the kids are in bed and the days over I always break and ruin the entire days work with terrible choices.
Has anyone found the pill has helped that? I know the first couple of months it takes a while to really kick in til you get up to 4mg but I’d love to know from those who struggled similarly if it’s cut it out?
Thanks.
Hi guys,
I’m looking to start the psychology/counselling degree in October, with a view to eventually going into counselling.
I have a predicament though currently.
After a lot of research I understand once completing the degree I would need to undertake a lot more study and courses to ever achieve accreditation to become a counsellor.
What other careers outside of counselling have people gotten with this degree? Or is it inevitable further study for any job will be needed?
Basically, should I scrap the course and just go down the level 2/3/4 counselling diploma route instead. It’s just the open university fits so much better with my life as a mum and a husband that works away mid week so I can balance things into no schedule far easier and stay committed to it.
I am also really interested in studying psychology, for me this isn’t just a path to a career, the course itself interests me and gets me excited just thinking about it.
Please let me know from any graduates what you’re currently doing in life so I can have an idea what’s out there!
Thanks as always, you really are a lovely bunch.
Hi all, I’m a stay at home mum the last few years raising the children and whilst I have been incredibly blessed to have been able to be there for them, the time has come to finally do something I’ve always dreamed of and have something for myself.
I am applying for the psych counselling BSc as this is something that genuinely interests me and eventually I would like to do a masters or further qualifications into counselling but I am apprehensive of the number of years this will take, we’re looking at approx 9 part time.
I’ve read conflicting stories online of the accurate hours needed a week to complete this over part time. Some saying only a couple? Surely that can’t be right.
Anyone who is studying this full time or part time can you shed some light on what you believe to be your accurate hours?
I am leaning towards full time, I can commit to 3-4hr study a day so that would be 15-20 a week with potential for more on the weekends when needed.
Thanks a bunch!
Hi all,
Had colonoscopy and endoscopy 2 weeks ago, 10 biopsies both ends taken. Nothing sinister seen at the time except Barrett’s.
My question is I have received a letter today for a follow up appointment with the gastro team.
Is this normal procedure if all biopsies came back normal? Or shall I expect a diagnosis of some sort on this call or further investigations etc?
I had expected a longer wait back for results so this letter came as a surprise.
So those whose biopsies were entirely clear on the NHS did you hear back or not hear anything?
Thanks.
Hi guys,
I’ve been having current jelly style mucous and blood when wiping, visible blood in stool and multiple positive FIT tests and worsening IDA.
Had my colonoscopy and endoscopy last week and the endoscopy showed island of Barrett which was biopsied but colonoscopy was seemingly clear, no hemorrhoids even. She took biopsies to be on the safe side.
Can IBS cause blood? Or a gynae cause? I’m just not sure if I didn’t have hemorrhoids what else it could be?
Thank you.
Hi guys,
I had my colonoscopy and endoscopy on Friday and ten biopsies were taken from both locations. The nurse didn’t tell me how long the current wait to hear results was. I know this is like asking how long is a piece of string but anyone with any info is helpful right now to ease a nervous wait.
Thanks guys!
Got my nipples done back in September ‘24 so nearly two years ago. Probably took about 14 months to heal, honestly felt like giving up with them so many times. The first six months they were agony.
Anyway in the last couple of weeks I had a cancer scare so took them out for CT scan two weeks ago, really struggled to get them back in after 13 hours but managed with pain.
Took them out Thursday afternoon as I have a colonoscopy and endoscopy yesterday and got them back in this morning but dear goodness I’d rather go through the colonoscopy again than this pain right now. My holes were completely gone. I re pierced but my god the pain is searing I’m sat here with yoghurt pots on my boobs trying to numb the pain.
Do they ever get to a point like ears where you just have a clean hole?? Will the gunk ever stop?????? I’m honestly at a point where I’m wondering why the hell I’m even bothering with them anymore.
Hi all,
I was put under the 2ww pathway for urgent endo and colonoscopy a couple of weeks ago. I had my triage appt with the nurse and was told over two weeks ago my appointment would be the 29th May (this coming Friday) and that my prep and guidance would be mailed to me.
It is a bank holiday in the UK so no post tomorrow. I haven’t received any letter or information yet and I’m supposed to start my prep on Thursday at 8am. She assured me my prep would all be posted in a pack but I’m worrying now as Tuesday afternoon is the earliest it will possibly come.
How long did other people’s packs take to arrive?
Thanks.
