Is Essence reaver into Navori Lucian’s “best” build

When you check on nearly ANY site Essence reaver into Navori or Essence reaver into IE are practically the ONLY builds recommended but I made a post wondering why Lucian’s ult damage felt so weak and someone mentioned that Essence jnto Navori was a “vegan build” and anytime I looked up different builds they were framed as troll builds that only worked in specific scenarios. So is this his only worthwhile build or should I be prioritizing some other build?

What’s the point in adding new characters when so many characters need to be revamped

THIS FROM A SOLO QUEUE PERSPECTIVE

So many characters are either forgotten or just not fun to play because they’re either weak into too many things or they just don’t do damage. For the first 1000 hours of playing this game I’ve spent most of it playing nearly every character (other than most supports) and it’s honestly annoying how many characters currently need buffs or reworks. For example you have Skarner, Nilah, Taliyah, Kalista, Sivir, and Vayne is barely even an adc anymore. KEEP IN MIND I’m not saying these characters aren’t good or that they don’t have their moments but it’s the fact that they require double the work for nearly the same value. Nilah is genuinely the most forgotten adc, Sivir is good but feels completely uninteresting to play, Kalista is also good but only because the damage on her E is busted and that’s only because her W and ult are useless in so many situations and the fact that so many people don’t even know what Kalista ult does has led to so many times where the support or person ends up just sitting inside the ult not knowing what to do which results in both deaths. Skarner is the Nilah of Jungle in the fact that they have almost no one playing them simply because they feel like too much work for little value. Taliyah is changed based on pro play which makes the character also super weak in solo queue. And vayne is completely horrible most of the time.

Would Nilah being a top laner not fit her lore better?

I haven’t read her lore in a while but I could have sworn one of her main things was that she fought and beat mountain sized enemies that threatened runeterra. Don’t get me wrong I think adc is usually one of the most fun roles when it comes to getting kills and fighting but currently adc feels so one sided a lot of the time and on top of that Nilah just is just so forgotten in bot lane that in my over 1000 hours of league I can’t recall seeing her on mine or the enemy team more than twice.

Is it just me or does Nilah not really seem as joyful as someone with the literal powers of Joy should be?

Idk whether to put this in the lore flair but in game Nilah seems like she’s just mildly happy rather than joyful, like her skipping around is perfect since it’s something someone really joyful would do but other than that all her voicelines just makes her seem like she’s mildly content or simply in a good mood. Maybe it’s just a matter of misinterpretation but I would assume someone who can’t feel anything other than joy would let out a laugh after getting a kill or at the very least do one of those chuckles that happens when you’re not doing anything and suddenly remember some funny video or joke so you laugh a little to yourself.

What does Nilah do against physical damage abilities?

Her W only blocks auto attacks and only makes magic damage deal 25% less (which sounds like a lot but mages still burst you down just as easily from double the range) but it does absolutely nothing against physical damage abilities, someone like nocturne can ult you and even if you press W before he reaches you every single one of his abilities deals full damage to you except for his passive and this applies to nearly all characters that have physical damage abilities as their main source of damage. So my question is what do you do against that, obviously you should build armor but in my last match I was against a brand and Zac bot lane with a Aurelion sol mid, a nocturne as their jungler and riven as their top laner. So obviously being majority magic I bought merc treads but then I got bursted down practically immediately by nocturne whether he used his ult or not and the riven was just as much of a problem with being practically unkillable by myself at 3 items.
