Would you rather have better accessibility on existing shopping apps or a complete stand alone app??
I'm developing an idea on better accessibility for disabled people and I wanted to know if y'all preferred to have a complete stand alone app with all kinds of accessibility tools catered or want to add an accessibility layer on existing apps.
survey for accessibility of ecommerce apps/websites
Hello,
I am an engineering student currently researching accessibility challenges faced by people with disabilities while using smartphones and ecommerce platforms.
As part of this research, I am working on Vaani, an accessibility-focused assistant aimed at making online shopping more accessible and independent. We are also exploring solutions for disability groups that may not be fully supported by existing voice-based technologies.
To better understand real-world experiences, we have created a short survey that takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete. We are looking for responses from people with disabilities, as well as individuals who use accessibility features, assistive technologies, or alternative methods to interact with digital devices.
Your feedback will help us identify accessibility barriers, understand current shopping experiences, and guide the development of more inclusive solutions.

If you are interested, there is also an option at the end of the survey to participate in a follow-up discussion by providing your phone number and share your experiences in more detail.
Thank you for your time and support. Please feel free to share this survey with others who may be interested.
