I'm going to be playing on a superhero campaign soon that kinda could allow me to play this kind of character, someone that is dumb as rocks with a gold heart and that speaks in thirdperson of himself and refers to others by their names when talking to them.

Any advice on how to play a character like this? And any ways to avoid falling into it becoming a single one-off joke that will be better to replace eventually?

So I've been getting back into the PS1 CTR for some days now, is still one of my favs games and finally playing in original hardware (PS2 backwards compatibility) feels quite nice. I originally decided I was gonna get the sapphire relics but after noticing that gold relics were required (I think?) to complete the game 100% I decided to start going for them.

So I arrived to Papu's Pyramid and I got stuck trying to get the gold, I gave up yesterday, retook the desire to do them today and spent like 3 hours and probably more than a dozen retries but I got it. I'm quite happy, and now, I'm gonna take a small break from these cause my hand hurts lol.

I don't really know where to start with this, but seeing it seems like a nice place to be around I think I may as well present myself. My name is Connor, 24 Y/O (M) from Chile.

I'm someone that wasn't that interested on selfshipping but I did had a crush on characters that eventually helped develop my liking towards men. I honestly never got too deep into selfshipping and even as a writer I never thought of adding myself into a story in this way. So far it's quite nice seeing people do it, and I may eventually do it.

Right now I'm not entirely sure which is my F/O, I'm thinking Hulk could be one. Yeah, call me weird or anything but that's one of my first picks haha.

Gonna try to be positive instead of overly negative for this, I have been away from everything Fortnite related and after getting extremely dissapointed with YARG: Fest Edition I just decided to just come back to Festival so I could play something I enjoy rather than force myself into enjoying something not for me. So far I'm enjoying it again, the notes not registering bug doesn't appear anymore which is nice.

What has me worried the most is in the situation Epic one day just wakes up and decides to kill the mode off or pull some shit that breaks everything while we still don't have a good other option.

Stage Tour seems cool and what makes me want to try it out is the ability to play with a keyboard/gamepad with dedicated charts for that, but honestly, while I want to have my hopes up, I can't feel sure things will go well seeing how every single dev studio tends to find a way to shoot themselves in the foot once things start to go well.

I've been thinking on an idea for a small campaign (4-5 sessions max) where getting closer to the end the group will have to fight a mentally controlled friendly NPC by the villain of the story. Idea is that this NPC is someone without any memories of who she was before waking up one day being found by the rebel group she now works with alongside the PCs, her backstory at the end being revealed that she was a creation by the BBEG from the very start, allowed to have her own life but mentally controlled in small ways without her knowing till the BBEG decides to use the full mental control and use her unleashed powers.

This is kinda my problem with this, I feel my players will be smart enough to realize something wrong with her from the start as someone without any knowledge of their past will cause some red flags to appear. I also think that the twist could be considered too dark cause the idea at the end is that she will die even if the PCs try to save her the best they can after the BBEG will use a kill switch, mostly as a way to gave more weight for the final fight against said BBEG at the end of the story.

Any advice on how to make this work? Any idea is welcomed.

I'm really conflicted on this. In short, I stopped GMing for a while and just came back to GMing a few days ago running a short one-shot. The one-shot went fine and I did had my hiccups during the time playing specially with dialogue during interactions with my players. Aside from that it went well.

Now to my problem, I want to use that small impulse of wanting to do stuff but I don't want to fall into the same pitfall that I fell into last time, that pitfall being losing interest on the game once it starts or goes past session 0 which after that usually ends up going no-where and getting canceled. If needed more context I can give it but that's about it with what's the problem I'm looking help.

Started today making some videos to share on a Discord server I'm in but decided to upload them into my Youtube channel. In the case people get interested I may upload more dumb shit made in this game lol.
