Day 5 encouragement for people on day 0-3

Hey, today I'm on day 5 and last night I slept 4 hours which is a new record for me and today was the first day I felt really better and I had enough energy to go biking and for around 1 hour driving my bicycle and listening music was really a lot of fun. I enjoyed it very much. Then... I got tired pretty quickly, but that's fine. Big progress.

I write this here mainly for all the people on day one or two or three. I know it's terrible and you can't sleep and everything sucks and every little action is hard. That's why we have to get rid of this addiction! otherwise we'll stay a slave to it forever. It will cost us money, motivation, relationships, our dreams and hopes, everything. I found out it's not possible to achieve my dream life or goals while being addicted and with this messed up dopamine system in my brain. So many reasons to stop!

Day 3 encouragement

I know we all feel terrible and we can't sleep and it's very har.. but always remember you just have to make it to seven days. this is really the hardest part, after this 95% of people feel much better.

take high doses Vitamin C, magnesium and I think melatonin also helps to sleep at least a little bit. Try to go for walks even if it's hard. Or go outside and lie down in the grass and look up in the trees. I promise this will make you feel much better. Good luck everybody! We have to go through it alone, but we can still encourage each other.

Last year I was already clean for around 75 days and then I relapsed. Just one time was enough to being back into a daily rhythm very fast. I am so mad at myself for this. Now I have to go through it again. But somehow it feels easier than the first time. Maybe I knew what to expect and I'm better prepared.

Whatever, But I can tell that even at day 75 I was feeling quite good and motivated to take on new projects and work towards my dream life.

now I wasted another year because with Kratom it's unfortunately not possible to live your dream life, we all know that. That's why we have to stop.

Good luck everyone! Don't relapse! You'll reach day 7 faster than you think.

Rituals while quitting addictions cold Turkey?

Hi everyone,

I have 2 addictions I want to overcome and simultaneously start a daily practice: caffeine and, more importantly, kratom.

Honestly, I think caffeine changes my mood and even parts of my personality. I would like to get rid of it to be closer to my natural baseline without external influences on my brain chemistry. But obviously kratom is more important to stop, and I’m fully aware of the negative effects it has had on my life in previous years.

My cold Turkey withdrawal of both substances at the same time will start soon.

In various comments on this subreddit I read that in certain phases of life it might make sense to focus more on Banishing rather than Invoking for a while, just to stabilize the system first.

That made me wonder if it would actually be smarter in my case to start very minimal — for example just practicing LBRP for a while — instead of immediately trying to balance Banishing, Invoking, Middle Pillar and meditation all at once.

My current rough idea was something like:

Morning: LIRP or meditation

Evening: LBRP

Middle Pillar somewhere in between

But I’m starting to wonder if that might already be too much for a beginning phase like this, especially given the current inner and physical transition I’m going through.

Thanks a lot for any insights 🙂

How important are goals?

Magik contains a lot of energy work or directing energy. That made me wonder: How important is it to have clear goals before building a daily practice?

Part of me feels that if I don't know what I truly want, I'm just generating energy without giving it a direction. Another part thinks the practice itself will naturally reveal the right path and that chasing goals too early might get in the way.

Do you have clearly defined magical or personal goals?

Or did you simply commit to a daily practice and let the goals emerge over time?

Has anyone noticed that their goals changed significantly the longer they practiced?

Looking forward to your thoughts. 🙂

Start with which daily rituals?

Hi, a question I'm thinking about a lot:

Which daily rituals would you recommend doing first?

- I thought about meditation with prayer in the morning.

- And then the LBRP.

- Maybe also the middle pillar visualization (which time would be ideal for this one?)

- Maybe also the LIRP in the evening..

But it sounds like a lot.. Maybe too much at once.. How did you start? Interested in other approaches 😌

Have a nice day everybody 🙂

Giving up addictions before starting rituals? And which (daily) rituals to start?

Hi, a question I'm thinking about a lot:

How essential is it to prepare your lifestyle for the practice? With that I mean especially giving up all addictions. my intuition tells me: I need to overcome ALL addictions (also coffee!) first.. Before seriously getting into daily rituals. Otherwise I would always be disconnected from my true self.

Side question:

Which daily rituals would you recommend doing first?

I thought about meditation in the morning, then the LBRP.

Maybe also the middle pillar visualization.

Maybe also the LIRP in the evening.

But it sounds like a lot.. Maybe too much at once.. How did you start?

Have a nice day everybody 🙂
